I’m really enjoying this so far after watching 2 episodes! I’m wondering why Lee Seung Gi has a wig on though?…
I think he wore the wig to look better/ appeal to the audience, but abandoned it pretty quickly because it was too much of a hassle(~ep 3.). He had such short hair at the time because he shaved it for a role (a monk or smth. similar)
Does anyone know why YU isn’t credited for his cameo in episode 3? I even read through the credits of the episode but neither he or his role (doctor) is mentioned
More or less, the pronunciation/accent is there and the actor actually doesn’t speak japanese. But it’s consistent with the character since Tae Oh only lived in Japan for ~ 2 years
Noted! For Twinkling Watermelon, who has what? Female Lead, Male Lead, Supporting Character, etc.
The main characters’ mother, brother (who are born this way) and father (which has it through head trauma) are deaf which makes the MC a CODA. The older brother is a supporting character, and they are two sets of ML’s and FL’s: ML: Eun Gyeol the CODA and his (young) father (since this is a time travel drama) FL: His (young) mother and the romance interest for Eun Gyeol who suffers from panic attacks and ALSO lost her hearing through trauma and stress for a while back in the past.
For anyone interested, the LFLS cast is currently releasing a variety show on their Youtube channel. Subs are finally added after a few days, so check it out!
I think it will be (hopefully) one looong episode divided into 6 parts, like previous seasons did it, or two episodes split into 3 parts. Either way, more content for us so yay!
Can someone explain to me how exactly the overall Ratings work? Because this one has for the moment a 7.9 but all the Ratings in the individual age groups are at least 8.0 or higher. Are there Ratings that are not taken in account for the statistic or am I overlooking something?
Twinkling Watermelon has multiple Characters that are deaf (through head trauma and born) and has also a Main who experiences anxiety/panic attacks In Midnight Museum one of the main characters has a lame leg (as well as other minor characters) for which he uses a cane.
I have to tell you, I cried so hard during the last episode. Seeing Myung Ha’s past resonated with me since my mother abandoned me too and the mission changing to make HIM happy and to let people care for him broke and healed me at the same time. I know the plot/scene continuity wasn’t the best, but the acting and visuals/Ost won me over. It’s simply a masterpiece and you really feel the love the producers, actors and staff gave the project. I’m so happy I discovered the trailer a few weeks ago and gave it a chance, it has the same place in my heart as Twinkling Watermelon, both in the core just about giving yourself a (second) chance and enjoying life/youth as it is.
I don’t know but the last two episode was a bit all over the place. I have no idea what’s happening really.…
I think the main problem is the limited screen time. If the series was shot in a Thai format (12 ep with around 45 minutes) I think the flow would be better. They don’t have the time to slowly build up the stakes/scenarios, hence all the scenes are lined up shortly after each other and there is not much relation between them.
From what I understood he has to choose between his grandmother or Yeowoon. Depending on his choice a couple of…
I had the same thought. I mean the main mission is to make him happy, that’s the whole base of the game. The only pro argument is that if he chooses him, he might escape the game, but that’s not for certain.
im really confused as to what the ending of ep 6 was about? what does he have to choose and what will happen if…
From what I understood he has to choose between his grandmother or Yeowoon. Depending on his choice a couple of changes he made (most likely the ones influenced by the side quests) are going to be deleted, but it’s unsure which ones it will be (they are all listed earlier in the black room sequence).
Yeah I had the same thought while reading the WEBTOON. They also live(d) both with their grandmother with their…
The webtoon is on tapas but under the name “Love Interest Zone” Currently there are around 35 chapters, and while the drama is going faster I think the background of Cha Yeowoon is better explained.
Yeah I had the same thought while reading the WEBTOON. They also live(d) both with their grandmother with their…
The funniest thing is that the the drama will 100% spoiler the Webtoon or is at least a Canon Divergence . They aren’t even together at this point and the drama catches up in ep 6 with the newest translated chapter. 😭 And of course the drama is great, maybe even better, because they skim over the *will they, won’t they* trope
I had a pain medication induced big brain thought. Myungha and Yeonwoo having such a similar background isn’t…
Yeah I had the same thought while reading the WEBTOON. They also live(d) both with their grandmother with their parents out of the picture, are social pariah at school and had both no real happy ending.
ML: Eun Gyeol the CODA and his (young) father (since this is a time travel drama)
FL: His (young) mother and the romance interest for Eun Gyeol who suffers from panic attacks and ALSO lost her hearing through trauma and stress for a while back in the past.
Hope I could explain that well enough
