One of THE best kdramas in the world.

No matter how many times I indulge in the captivating narrative of this Korean drama, it never fails to keep me thoroughly engaged. Recently, I revisited the series at the behest of my sister, who had developed a keen interest in it, and I must say, my jaw was on the floor throughout the entire rewatch!

The plot was meticulously crafted, drawing me in with its seamless execution. Han So Hee's portrayal of her character was nothing short of spectacular; the raw and authentic emotions she conveyed were truly remarkable. Witnessing the protagonist's heart-wrenching experience of seeing her father, the sole anchor in her life, meet a tragic end through a door's peephole was profoundly moving. As the story unfolded, the character's quest for revenge felt incredibly realistic, and the show navigated the complexities of trust with great finesse. The conclusion of the series, however, shattered my expectations. While I half-anticipated Mujin's involvement in the father's demise, Han So Hee's performance in that pivotal moment was breathtaking. The intensity of rage she displayed left me utterly stunned, and overall, the beauty of the narrative was awe-inspiring.

Cinematographically, the show was a visual delight. The consistent use of dark, green-toned hues created a cohesive aesthetic, and the occasional burst of neon bright colors in the nocturnal urban scenes added a captivating contrast. The action sequences were expertly filmed, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

The musical accompaniment was nothing short of exceptional. Each and every song featured in the show has found a permanent spot in my playlist, each one a standalone hit. The synergy between the music and the unfolding drama heightened the emotional impact of the storyline.

The characters, especially Jiwoo and Pildo, endeared themselves to me as lovers and protectors. Their chemistry was palpable, and the scene at the beach house remains etched in my memory. While the conclusion for Pildo may have been unnecessary, it served to intensify Jiwoo's growing rage and heightened awareness, making her character more compelling and resilient.

In summary, I unequivocally rate this series a perfect 10/10. My affection for it knows no bounds, and it continues to leave me in awe with each viewing.
