Leads became famous internationally because of this drama, not the other way round. Eventhough they were talented, people started recognising their talent after this drama. High rating is because it had a good plot. made people curious about her escape from N korea & made them hooked in every episodes. Their chemistry was really good. It didn't give a sad ending. It had romance, comedy, action & quite thrilling too. It's ok that you didn't like it. Not everyone can like the same drama.
I found it😢. I can't ignore the fact that this was my first drama, eventhough i realised it recently. I need to rewatch this drama & bring back my memories. I was 5 or 6 years old when i watched this.

Eventhough he confessed, there was not much of romance. Story was overall good but the ending felt rushed. It was a light hearted & pleasant drama. Is that a mistake Joo eo jin didn't play as song da gyeom, it was someone else. plz change his cast shown here.

Feels like you were expecting a matured story meanwhile this is a highschool romance story of two high schoolers.Also as you said I know seojun didn't do that. But also remember, he was not aware of any of her secrets. If he knew her secret, I'm not sure whether he would use it against her or not. Is there any guarantee? He is depicted as a bad boy type in the story (he even mentally tortured suho so many times accusing him of responsible for his friend's suicide & he even said jukyung would hate suho if she hear about those allegations. I don't think seojun is a perfect boy as you all say he is). Also as what i said few days back suho was not using that secret to hurt her. He told her many times, she was beautiful even without makeup. It was evident like daylight, using that secret as excuse he wanted to spend time with her.

But he made her run errands using that excuse just to be with her & get close to her. He liked her since they met. Also that was not a torture or abuse. Usually boys tease the girls they like the most. If it was seojun, he will also do the same. Suho tried his best to keep her secret, it was her friend who disclosed it to everyone. He helped & cared for her a lot. loved her for who she is. Atlast suho even gave seojun a chance to confess to her. He forgave seojun who mentally tortured him. Also suho wanted to get back with her after coming back from the US, if not why did he follow her?
This movie reminded me of 'midnight runners'. I love both. We actually need cops like them in the society. Ra mi ran is a good actress. I saw her for the first time here. Also my favorite actresses Sung kyung, soo young were leads too & Jo hyejoo played a bit part as the victim's friend. It was so enjoyable to watch. I highly recommend this movie.
