Being gay is normal. Gay couples don't do anything different from straight couples. Comparing gay people to nudity on tv is like comparing apples and oranges; they're completely different concepts.
I had to drop this after two episodes. Why is it so popular? Everything is so cheesy and over the top. Study Group and Weak Hero are way better at this genre.

The romance isn’t overt which is why a lot of people are upset. They were hoping for something a long the lines of a traditional BL. This is more of a coming of age story about two closeted gay men, but the references to their secualities and feelings for eachother is very subtle.
This is 100% BL. The people complaining in the comments don’t know how to read subtext. The charecters regularly hint at their sexualities and internal struggles with self-acceptance. One example: Jo Han tells Ryu “I think you know that I am the same as you…I have been lying also to myself”

There arnt many serious gay romance series. If you enjoyed the more slow burn, emotional style of LITBC, you’ll probably like: I Told The Sunset About You/ I Promise You The Moon, Moonlight Chicken, Eternal Yesterday, I Feel You Linger In The Air, I Hear The Sunspot, the On1y One.
