All these comments about crying makes me want to skip it… is it a sad ending?
The romance isn’t overt which is why a lot of people are upset. They were hoping for something a long the lines of a traditional BL. This is more of a coming of age story about two closeted gay men, but the references to their secualities and feelings for eachother is very subtle.
This is 100% BL. The people complaining in the comments don’t know how to read subtext. The charecters regularly hint at their sexualities and internal struggles with self-acceptance. One example: Jo Han tells Ryu “I think you know that I am the same as you…I have been lying also to myself”
speaking of which... do you have any recommendations? i think ive recovered enough from love in the big city,…
There arnt many serious gay romance series. If you enjoyed the more slow burn, emotional style of LITBC, you’ll probably like: I Told The Sunset About You/ I Promise You The Moon, Moonlight Chicken, Eternal Yesterday, I Feel You Linger In The Air, I Hear The Sunspot, the On1y One.
For you, probably. The whole show is about a ghost with a sliced up face terrorizing a group of friends. If you watched any Korean zombie movie, its similar to that but in ghost format.
I would argue that this is better than Inventing Anna (which I found obnoxious), but yeah not as good as Gone…
lol Im talking about ‘Inventing Anna’ the American series. it has an almost identical premise: girl pretends to be a wealthy heiress to trick other rich people to invest in her fake company so she can open a luxury hotel.
