I dropped it after ep 11, chemistry is nowhere near this drama, plot is typical. there is nothing from both ML or FL's charaters to pull me in. ML reminds me of the snake here (naive in relationship) but stronger, FL has very limited expression in those early 10 eps. I felt that the SML even brought more drama and interesting acting than the rest, but he alone is not enough to carry the drama.

I think love and redemption has quite a bit of good kiss scenes, not as uncountable as this, but more than average

I also think it's the drama's intention to create this cycle and repetition: regardless of the circumstances, they will meet and end up with each other in a similar way. So in the modern world, a new cycle begins; it deliberately starts in the same way, signaling it will end in the same way without telling.

It makes me wonder if they were close before the show, cause they look extremely close in every bts clips. I also saw the interviews and seems like Reba is in charge 🤣. While over here, I can see Athur and Lulu kind of awkward in early bts clips, but they get really comfortable for later scenes + during interviews, Athur tends to be in charge. Different dynamics.

same, came here cause wyl, saw some clips but the plot seems heavy and now everyone is crying in the comments. I'm not sure I have the power to absorb some heavy, traumatic plot rn.

I will miss this cp, sj & lty, hope Arthur Chen and Wang Ying Lu have some projects together in the future.

This mortal king arc looks fun, they should have shorten the devil arc and extend this part instead

I think we are too normalized to watching people killed all the time in xianxia and this type of transmigration drama. It turns into an automatic mode to many of us viewers. So it's actually kind of refreshing when this drama challenges those assumptions.

This drama is killing me. I started watching other stuffs in the mean time while waiting for the new ep, but nothing hits as much as this one, seeing every couple I'm thinking, ah I miss SJ & TY already 😂😂😂

haha I love the ep's title, they still has the humor in it, despite all the angst in the recent ep: SQL, the price of the stock you bought is dropping LMAO

LOL I understand the vent but FL explained it before that he has never even killed a chicken in her life, it makes sense to have some struggles, isnt it more weird if she is suddenly killing left and right? She was a salted fish as well and for a while, she has no motivation to even learn anything, so you cant expect her to suddenly being a bad ass. She already started deciding to learn just cause SJ is injured and joined him during the thunder strike. I think it's the natural process of transition (which is needed) to something hopefully better later on. I find this plot is a bit more realistic and logical than many plots of transmigration that I watched in recent years.

I am watching both and rate this one way higher than moonlit. Both are not extremely new in terms of story/setup .
WDBTD: Refreshing FL, satisfying ML, chemistry & character developments are extremely good, I can watch them interacting all day, humor is on point. The "drama" that hooks me in is their characters and relationships.

Moon lit: FL is so so, typical character, ML: so so, typical, he is even a bit naive in relationships, kind of reminding me of the snake here, chemistry and character developments are not really there; I can see the plot is trying to hint it from the ML side, like he is falling for her, but it is not working for me, ML & FL already had their first kiss and I felt nothing; nothing is funny or surprising in the cases. Overall, there is no "drama" so far, and im on ep 9 (not in the cases, not in the relationship, not in the characters, not in the storyline). CGI is better with moonlit and I can tell there is more money, but cgi is not a deal breaker for me anyway.
