again the show is stupid, her reasons for the breakup are stupid, the whole idea of marriage is security. the only reason the marriage would fail is because she has decided to throw everything away in the pursuit of thrills elsewhere, which my original point is that i don't agree with this reasoning and find it completely stupid. it is very normal to feel like you need to get married after 10 BIG YEARS, modern dating has rotted your brain. everything you are describing is how any normal relationship of 10 years looks like. there is literally 0 problems with being comfortable, in fact that is what you should strive for in life. i chalk down your views to growing up in a capitalist society and in a time were people can't go more than 30 seconds without something new stimulating their tiny brains.

don't make it a gender war thing, he did not break up with her, her wanting them to break up and then being around him makes her a hypocrite. it's not a lack of media literacy to say that wanting to break up with someone because they are too nice and you are bad at your job doesn't make any sense in the real world and exists only in movies and for losers looking for someone else to blame for their failures. from what has been shown he has been nothing but good to her and has been accommodating her every need, so if anyone of the characters is afforded some leniency it is him!

on the character note, yes individually they can be good characters but if the narrative is always gravitating towards them being around each other and having lingering feelings, then it ruins the whole premise and makes her actions completely pointless and just downright stupid. just have the feeling it will just be the ML pining for her every episode and her seeing the other guy.

yes i'm obviously jumping the gun and bit, but just based on recent trends in media they are most likely going to go down that road. i'm just personally not a fan of what romance and relationships have become in media. being "grounded" usually just means someone hates their relationship so they cheat or leave and date someone else 10 minutes later. kind of upsetting when you think about it and the damage it does to people who consume a lot of media. and with the cheating i more so mean them being in each others lives knowing he still loves her and her not setting any boundaries whilst seeing the lawyer guy, it's always really tough to watch and is really weird

also what is realistic about breaking up with your partner of 10 years because he is too good to you and then almost immediately dating someone who is actively trying to sue you and threatened to end your career. i mean i must be crazy for thinking this is unrealistic and cheating fantasy slop which seems to be peddled out at an increased rate over the last few years. israel on a generational run of propagandising people into infidelity

the idea that you all feel like the only solution to learn and grow as a human is to break up with your partner and sleep around is what's wrong with the world. she can just as easily stop being lazy and make her own meals and do her own thing and not have to throw away a 10 year relationship. it's just an excuse people use to basically cheat and after they've had their fun they come back 6 months later ready to "settle"

why do they always make it so the male lead get's toyed with and have the female lead always flirting with the male second lead, but when it's the other way round the male lead doesn't ever really show interest in the female second lead. some weird cuck fantasy every time, it's so hard to watch. the female lead just seems selfish and unlikeable and idk how people find it normal for them to move on so fast
