We had a disagreement over a drama, and she cut me out of her life. And this was after years of companionship, affection, and friendship. I never truly recovered from it.

Actually, I tried to find the novel to read, but I could only find a very poor translation in my country, so I gave up. What exactly is Bei Lu Qing doing? The emotional pain and humiliation he keeps inflicting on Xiao Fan are bordering on sadism. I honestly can't understand his behavior. At least the monster sister's physical abuse is straightforward and obvious.
If this story doesn't change direction—and judging by the very first scene we saw in Episode 1, I don't think it will—I know I'll end up completely disappointed with this drama. Ugh!
