well the recent rumors are all saying he actually has many scripts but only lacking FLs... i feel all these popular actresses may prefer to act with stars who have more traffic than him or female centric to improve their achievements/status (SF4's bad publicity may have affected him as well). So now I don't expect these well-known actresses anymore, I'm fine with someone less popular but stable and has decent acting skill who's humble and lowkey (like Liangjie)

I don't know, probably no-name director. HL's plot was criticized a lot in China though (for the predator suspicion and oily character of DJX). The director ran a way and they only had outfits for 2 days of filming. ZLS had to borrow her brands for clothes, CZY brought his own clothes too and ZLS helped styling them. I even suspect it was CZY who asked the director of his previous drama (the villain boyfriend's director) to join HL 🤣
