Title Payback
I shouldn't have been this critical but I cannot help myself. I watched this thinking it would be a great watch since the rating was unusually high but god the whole drama felt like a fever dream. The scenes weren't executed well, revenge felt unsatisfying as they stretched it till the last episode and was so messy, the romance part didn't even feel like romance but like those trivia questions Jay asks in the drama; baseless. The nc scene was the only 'well made' and well structured scene but that too made me wonder if the actors were comfortable with it coz it was legit p0rn. The only things I liked in this drama were the friendship between Sky, Kajorn and Sun and the portrayal of the entertainment industry and that's all. Acting was mediocre; great at some places and really bad at others... Dialogues felt really cringey... made me compare it with Me and Thee where Thee had cringier dialogues but the crew did a great job at delivering it along with Pond's acting... Here Toptap's acting was genuine and good but the dialogues felt cringier than Me and Thee because of the situation and the crew not being able to portray it in a better way.

Overrated get boring at point . Thought revenge would be solid but whole thing changed into finding love and it…
the fact that it wasn't even finding love but finding 'one night stand'

I'm so confused by the ratings on this one, I came back 2 times to be sure I was watching the right show :oI just…
omg same... I completed it and the cringe dialogues killed me. Even till the end true love was nowhere to be seen... It was all lust, obsession or saying cringe dialogues in serious situations. The first few episodes on the revenge plot made me curious but that too wasn't executed properly and done hastily. Such a shame I thought I might like this drama. And here people are throwing the word "masterpiece" a little too casually and misleading others.

Final Rating 7.7 out of 10This was good until episode 8. After that it lost the plot line and included some needless…
About Qingtian, that's how life is, isn't it? Unpredictable. I was blaming Zelia too and couldn't understand why she did that but after mourning for Qingtian- as i came back to reality, I understood that my life was also like that. Just when you think everything was in place, something bad would happen. And a bear mauling someone in the mountains of China is a very real occurance. It just shows how we shouldn't just romanticise the mountains and remember that there are dangers associated in it too.

And Shi Yuhao committed suicide because he was depressed. He got no help from anyone. Never went to any psychiatrist or therapist and got abused by his agency into doing things he didn't want to do. Later he, himself started doing bad stuffs for fame and that's how Sister Lan died too. He couldn't stop feeling guilty and that's why he thought of Sister Lan before committing suicide.

In a way, you can see Qingtian and Shi Yuhao drew parallels with each other because both were in a phone call and that resulted in car accident for their closed one. But QIngtian had loved ones with him and a very positive environment and cured his depression but Shi Yuhao couldn't because of a toxic surrounding.
Your rating might increase if you rewatch it and look deeper into the nuances because this exact thing happened to me but after rewatching, I got to know that it wasn't just a simple romance story but critiques toxic entertainment industry, sasaeng fans, shipping culture, forced r@pe, influential people in the entertainment industry AND even critiques influential political figures (which might be a first in any cdrama since the censorship is really bad and they could never criticise the government.) It is really brave of them to do that.

It’s been NINE days since I last opened this app, literally with tears in my eyes saying goodbye to Winter Sun,…
OMGGG!! I thought this only happened to me!! I tried watching Prosecutor's Proposal—dropped it. I tried to watch Payback—dropped it. Even though their premises are good, I can't help but compare them to this drama. I KNOW that their genres are different, but genre and plot aside, this one has just set the standard for green flag characters, true love, genuine raw chemistry, and OSTs. Now I can't even watch dubbed series (which I had worked so hard to get used to) since this one has the actors' raw voices without dubs... I'm doomed ig

Am I the only one who stopped watching after episode 6? Idk if I should go back on it. I've seen some spoilers…
don't be scared! It has a happy ending and it's worth the watch. I was sad and heartbroken and almost dropped too but I still came back to it and would come back again and again because this drama is nostalgic and shows the reality of life. Or, you can just skip episode 13 and watch the rest.

People love criticizing the acting style just because a character doesn't act as perfectly as they want them to.…
yeah like the scene where the father was lashed and scenes of the original klao should have been serious but the way he delivers it is almost comical which is totally different from the character he should be playing
