Ikr...Nightwalkers are the best part of the drama. I know people talk about romantic chemistry more but I believe the bromance is TOP NOTCH in this drama. Its soo freakin good.

I get that but in palace politics, sometimes, sons killed their fathers. If he sided with the ML, there was a greater chance of people siding with the uncle as well. The uncle's influence would have significantly increased if people thought NH's family is treated well (NH 's mom was not cutting ties with him).

Besides, the uncle was definitely the culprit and the mother is also to blame here because she was not smart enough to understand that her brother is committing assassinations within the palace. Actually, its not the character development. Its the 40 episode format which the audience doesn't have patience for anymore. 5-6 years ago, this would have been a fast paced cdrama for me. Now, dramas have reduved their episodes even more like kdramas have 12 episodes now and there's minis as well.
