Revolving around passionate kisses and poison dart
The drama was quite similar to the drama 'Perilous Love', especially with the FL stabbing the ML for revenge over someone else’s crime. (Girl, research much?)
Why this drama stood out:
1. The story maintained momentum, with events unfolding consistently. There wasn’t a single dull moment, keeping me hooked till the end.
2. The FL was fantastic, as always, but the ML stole the show. His performance was captivating, and it’s heartbreaking that he hasn’t gained the stardom he deserves. Here’s hoping he lands more prominent roles soon.
3. The storytelling was well-crafted, blending flashbacks, present events, and past revelations seamlessly. The buildup to the climax was engaging and kept me invested.
4. Unlike many dramas where romance fades as conspiracies unfold, this show maintained the leads’ chemistry and playful interactions until the end.
5. The FL’s not being a pushover was a highlight. Her final act of taking down the villain with a bow and arrow was refreshing, avoiding the usual trope of the ML saving a helpless FL.(Thank God the poor ML can survive this time)
The only thing that felt unnecessary was her decision to leave the ML and retreat to the bamboo house for three months. It was hard to understand the purpose of this move.( Like why?)
With its strong performances, engaging plot, and refreshing dynamics, this drama was a delightful watch.
