It is said thar investigators dad killed Prosecutors dad. both are living in trauma from that day on. right now they are looking for clues to check if what has been decided as a truth back then is really truth + looking to stock pile charges on the director of casino (dr gs, abandoment of body etc)

for both of them their case is very important but the statue of limitation had passed since its been 15 yrs they cannot openly and officially investigate it. they can just connect the dots and prepare evidence for a stronger blow later on

the novel is like 5 volumes, there is no way they could have fit everything into 10 eps that have barely 30 minutes with intro outro and preview 🥲
