If they could say the truth honestly in the first place, I think things would be better than getting caught later after lying. It's embarrassing not a good way, seeing those scenes faking someone's job. I find it ridiculous.

It is not a good message to lie about your job and impersonate someone else’s job. I don’t know why they find it funny or think it’s a good idea to add that. Kanit could have told his family the truth “I broke up with my pilot boyfriend because he cheated on me" before they did a lying act anyway. Imagine if Lion heard about them impersonating his job, he would be mocking them. Just glad that it got caught in the same episode.
