If you see Twitter mostly Hyeri fangirls are bashing this drama saying stuff like ML is ugly, he had plastic surgery, they want to see this drama but can't stand the actor etc.

Everything was over the top but still nothing to deliver.

This pattern is quite common these days in Kdramas.

It's just the 2nd episode and you're already complaining that there is no romance. I don't know what kind of romcoms you've watched in past to expect romance in 2nd episode.

I think jealousy, inferiority complex, being compared or being pitied by someone better.

It was executed very well but it felt quite short.
