MY to Situ Ling-" why are you so obsessed ? " JBZ to Situ Ling -" Why are you so gehh!! "😂😂 Ngl,one of the best remedy for ""blackmail trope" on FL to save ML. As a Man ,I am proud of JBZ.He always dipped head first to save his wifey (who did the same for him). And I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with Situ Ling.This excuse of a man cannot digest the fact the MY only loves JBZ.They are both ready to die for each other.Just the fact that she was ready to die for JBZ shows that she is only devoted to him .She can never be with anyone but JBZ.How can he even dream about separating them? His actions felt annoying from the start ( although I hate all 2nd MLs who come near FLs).But Situ is just peak annoying ,could not even see that FL doesn't like him,even after repeated rejection. Now onto the main couple, One of those drama couple who are with each other from start to end, one in both mind and body.They have each other's back and ready to die for each other. Satisfying storyline, even the during the phase of separation between ML and FL(which is only 1 ep here ,each time) they were not actually separated or angry with each other,they were at most grumpy with each other , and reconcile in a heartwarming and romantic way, which I like the most .(My most favourite trope is Enemies to lovers with First time love , where both are inexperienced and grow up on each other,that's why). They are added to my small list of Favourite drama couples.
Situ in evil form looks like Emperor Palpatine of Star wars (reference ' Yes yes let the hate flow') Please don't mind what I am about to say,but Situ Ling's interference has been so annoying to me,that I think we need a hard and unorthodox method to break his delulu and obsession. Tie him up in a chair and seal his powers, in a side room. In main room where MY and JBZ are making love (yes much more than just kisses),but Situ ling can see only their hazy silhouettes (even more layers of curtains, than those used in hot springs scene for us viewers) and hear their voices and love talk. Only this can hammer him back to a reality check ✅. I am just stating my anger upon the character,nothing derogatory intended.

He has become a bigger headache than the villains.I think it would have been better if he had fight to death with his brother.Both sources of evil would have been purged earlier .The moment he comes near Ming yi ,my inner JBZ comes out,and I just want to punch him to oblivion.
Just a short thought- I don't know if this drama is more tilted towards female audience or not( to me it seems to be more female oriented,like even opening was with FL story).They are designing FL character somewhat more complex,while ML characters are straight forward and simple,easy to read.This may feel like a power imbalance in storyline. This also happened with Prisoner of Beauty. They make FL characters more complex,who has much on her plate and is prioritising many things at the same time,resulting in momentary unmindful and irrational choice of actions. Like in this case,MY is in love (hopeless romantic) and is ready to die for her love ,but is also weighing her other priorities,like doing her duty as MX,etc. While they make ML characters ,simple to comprehend and understand.So we are able connect more to ML and understand him better. Like in this case,JBZ had an initial agenda ,he still has,but is prioritising MY more now.So he has become somewhat single-aim focused with simple priorities (simple character design).For ML ,FL becomes greater priority.While FL is torn between her love for ML and her duty. I think this is what frustrates many ,that they are irritated with FL not opting for simple straight forward actions and approaches (and not prioritising ML more than her other duties, while ML has only thought about FL). Sometimes,they may show overly ruthless ML turn soft puppy, so suddenly,only in front of FL,that it may appear unrealistic or abrupt. It was like that for POB C drama too.ML character was simple, initially he had goals ,but midway he single mindedly loved FL and let go off his hatred.Whereas FL was torn between love for ML and duty to protect her home ( So continued to scheme and plan for sometime).Only later on she set her priorities straight and learned of her faults;both cleared up the misunderstandings and became each other's first priorities. So I think problem would be solved,if they make both FL And ML characters equally complex and simplify them together simultaneously to bring a balance. Whereas, in Fated hearts C drama,ML character is more complex than FL.You can feel the difference if compare the storyline progress. But, be seated ;all will be well ,by 3/4th of story the drama will bring balance and you will let go any complaints and grievances about FL. As ,the character will become simple and ,both ML and FL will have same priorities (both will prioritize each other only),with with single minded attention towards each other. So ,you will feel better. Trust the process,and you will get greater satisfaction. Just glimpse of my thought after reading character supporting warfare going on in the comments. Nothing serious,just a passing analysis.

Another scenario(for fun)- After getting powers,MY reluctantly and temporarily returns to her kingdom to fight as MX.But here JBZ thinks that MY has returned to MX.So he goes to fight in tournament.While fighting in tournament,JBZ fights with MX to get back MY,While MY/MX is so happy to see JBZ,that she forgets her surrounding and goes for an intimate hug.As they are bound by heart string ,JBZ can see through her illusion now,when they are close and bound by heart.But to others it looks like JBZ and MX are a thing.(Gay)🤣🤣🤣🤣
