I know It was an emotional scene,but the way Song Kang character twirled while off-ing herself with knife, I just burst out laughing in between the emotional scene. But somehow I think, ML is the actually the son of The big brother of Emperor, maybe it's just my bias towards twists and turns.
Fl was in denial the whole drama and was so reluctant. All of a sudden she’s lovey dovey with him, it felt like…
But she was already getting attracted to CP when she had first agreed to marry the CP ,she just had not realised it herself as she is inexperienced in love ( how she was ok with his mischievous antics, how she dreamed of him waiting for her infront of East palace ,when CP was injured from getting her medicine from Frozen mountains and could not meet her. She could feel that he was helping her,saved her multiple times ,while fighting against his own health ,and she tried to help him back. His selfless sincerity touched her ). A slow down happened when ,she discovered that CP is actually strong and calculative ,she was reluctant as if she was betrayed ,but got back on track , realising that he meant her good and that he truly loves her(even on verge of dying he is paving way for her ,so that she can live well even after him) . she set boundaries first after marriage ,like in her past life ( strictly in name,no love or getting close) , but in this life , she slowly let CP get close to her,got intimate with him , against her initial intention. So for me,her change was not that much abrupt, she was gradually developing feelings since ep 19 or so.
By the way ,each time Prince Xin comes to occupy the screen , I don't know if I have to hate or laugh at him. The FL ,in her previous life as Gu qingshi , married him only in name (political contract marriage),lived separately, she didn't love him and was cold, she didn't even let her touch her till death. But in this life , as Shen Xihe ,ML CP is the only person FL got intimate with (including both lives) she is lovey dovey with the ML openly , kissed on battlefield infront of everyone, and the made up marriage night by ML(how he got himself scratched by the cat , and then tilted his neck to show the wound in court as if his wife-cat has done it 😂 the smug look) . How is Prince Xin is trying to confront the CP? On what grounds? He should have realised it by now ,that FL truly loves ML only. Still seeing ep 29 trailer, it seems he will get his closure and would let it go (he was not evil or bad atleast ). The most cutest (and also somewhat sexy ) scene for me was the bath scene where Meng zi yi (FL) was pushing away He Yu(ML) in embarrassement. The FL very well portrayed the the shyness and inexperience of the FL,and the way she was pushing ML so cutely while trying to cover herself,(her cute voice and the breaking of her usually cold attitude,her shyness the day after ) was just peak👌.
In this season we got two Mastermind MLs ( Prince Xiao Huayong and Xiao Wuyi(key to phoenix heart) , and by coincidence both are poisoned 😅), or else generally the FLs are made calculative and scheming.(Though I have noticed that,in most dramas ,when MLs are calculative and scheming , they do it for greater good or to get the FL or for her benefit. While If FLs are calculative and scheming,they do it for themselves or for greater good or against ML, initially). But these two dramas didn't dumb down the Mastermind MLs after their union with FL( maybe cause they are on verge of dying before revival).

In Coroner's diary too ,they could have married cause she cared for the ML ,and they were not blood related cousin,so cousin marriages were possible in ancient chinese dramas.😉.Thats why this drama casted them as couples in modern times🤣
For me ,Lu Yu Xiao is one of the most beautiful chinese actress.Her smile just makes me skip a bit.And her mischivous smiles and giggles from "Love in the clouds " were just...🫠😳 Everytime I feel jealous of her male co-stars. She is getting more dramas now 😁. I want see her pairing with Bai Jing Ting. Both would be laughing and gigling the whole time.🤣😂

😂🤣 I like PotB and the character design more than LiTC.For me PotB is 9.5 while LiTC is 9.1.I was just saying to compare it a bit cause in both FL falls in immeasurable love with ML and fell harder in love ML even though MLs were first to fall in love. We are of the same opinion 🤝

Yes the lying part and keeping secret was unnecessary and irked me too.I had said the sme in the comments in that drama.But later on she got the retribution and made it upto ML for her lies.so ending sequence was good.The bits of hiccups are sure frustrating but if you get past it ,it would feel good. Like in PotB, where the FL was acting in against ML for sometime but then ,felt guilt and realised her faults and made it up to ML.
Feels like they have taken a tell not show approach with the ML in these last few episodes and sidelined his presence…
