Yes ,the royal family relationships are good.Even though the empress is partial towards ML and doesn't like him much,she takes ML sister as her own.The emperor seems cold but understands his son's temperament,righteousness and intentions. And ML is very strategic and rational. Also he has impeccable timing and luck.He is always there at the right moment and most of his plans are full proof😎
I don't know why but c dramas that want to attract female audiences are making the female characters dumber instead of making them rational.And the male characters feel much more lovable😆😆. Like for example,the physician lady is afraid of ML,but is not afraid to disclose messages to enemy prince and his convoy,like wth. And the repeated yapping about ML being evil from the characters like FL,lady doctor,even the enemy prince and the minister zhuang is just pure hypocrisy. The minister's adopted son first tried to kill ML,so ML killed him.How is the ML The evil one🥴 ,when he acted in self defence? For me, ML seems most righteous and rational of all front row characters. FL states him as evil initially,but on what basis? She had shot him, still he saved her and didn't take revenge. If we talk about the torture part,then he took the same in order to ensure that FL feels to be on equal footing of partnership. And he also has to defend his kingdom .But no!! If FL and others kill it is all right and is for the good of kingdom, but if he takes any action to defend him and fight for his kingdom, he is evil , just wth!! Till now ML character is the most forgiving and kind one, taking into consideration of the relationship between the two kingdoms. All other characters seem hypocrite. Even the cold emperor seem to be rational to me than FL and her friends.FL's two brothers seem nice though,they are simple and easy to read.But I think ,the one who had shot arrow at FL is the Prince of Jinxia himself,just a hunch! And the Lady doctor,for me ,she is the prettiest,even more than FL( FL is pretty,but personal preference),but her character sometimes irks,like how is she afraid of her kingdoms Prince ,but not afraid of enemy kingdoms people.If it is because of the rule ,for which ML is an exception,then it seems plausible ,but her repeated mentioning of ML as evil in each scene just irks me,like it will be the core of a misunderstanding looming over upcoming episodes. And finally ,I feel like nowadays C dramas are getting more and more female centric. I am not against a strong FL,but downgrading other characters feels a little shallow.And then they later on make the FL characters dumber.The dramas should give equal importance to male and female characters.Why they are making ML characters forgiving and soft towards FL from the get-go ?This feels a bit unnatural,ML character starts to yield to FL character from the initial episodes, without build up,but no reciprocal action is seen in FL part. If that's correct ,then the tourists who visit a place are bound to obey the unofficial rules formed by the community or village head ,even though they are nonsensical. And I am saying hypothetically,if govt or a company acquired land forcibly.And in reality too ,if there is a development project or construction of a necessary public infrastructure like dams or canal,then land is acquired in exchange of compensation ,even if people are unwilling to give away their lands,and people are displaced from their homes.This is common knowledge.
