Just finished! THANK GOD. I havenβt been influenced by MDL's bad review and comment.A MASTERPIECE OF SLOW BURN…
yeahhh exactly I am actually very picky with cdramas that it got to a point I can no longer finish what I started and i hate that. finally watch this and I liked it.
I can't believe it, I went through the entire 4 episodes without forwarding even once, huh π
and that shows the series got potential especially if you've been watching countless cdramas it's easy to find storylines boring but so far not this one. I also didn't skip or 2x any scenes yet. it's doing a great job π€£
I was so excited about this series aside from a fact that this is a very fresh character for Zhao Lusi I really love their chemistry and I'm so into William so ACCKKKKKKKKKKKK
the best part watching the series is that I didn't have any idea of how it'll end, I did my very best to avoid spoilers and guess what it paid off. the roller coaster of emotions I felt was just so genuine and pure. I can't remember when I last felt like this watching a drama probably a few years ago back when I watched The Untamed and was very new to Chinese Dramas. Anyway I love this feeling. I just appreciate the overall effect of the series to me. The storyline, the OSTs, the casts (esp the main lead loved them from their previous works), THE ENDING! I LOVE IT!
That cemetery scene. I love how they inserted the happy ending for the older version of A'xun and A'tang. The timing of the background music was perfect.
Watching the series I suddenly felt a little bit blessed. compared to the characters' struggles at least I have a choice. when things get hard I still have a way out. the hardest part is when you have to surrender to fate and the hopelessness
I probably haven't cried for quite sometime now and I didn't know I needed that. Their OSTs were all good especially that Cantonese one and that Time Tunnel. That part of the song that has the line "Don't be afraid 3x" felt so sincere so genuine that it's making me tear up everytime I hear it.
You guys should watch the promotional shows including Hello Saturday's ep and that one wetv show, they're really close and I love Zhou Ye's character from Word of Honor till now even if she's got this issue about having a bad attitude which I don't think is true. anyway go check out their contents on YouTube/wetv
I've watched lots of cdramas already and even skipped popular ones. For months now I only watch dramas for the first 10-15 eps but unable to really finish it. I was so tired with that cycle and thinking it's gonna be the same for this one so I started it without expectations to get to the last episode unexpectedly I enjoyed this one a lot. I know the storyline is typical but it really depends on the leads and the chemistry for me, as long as it catches my attention then the rest will follow. I'm giving it a 10 'cause this is the reason I'm motivated everytime my shift ends 'cause I know new eps are out. now that it ended I'm trying to find a new gem and since Chengyi and Yangzi's works will be out soon then I'm good.
I really enjoyed s2 and they really did what they promised especially Dilireba, she mentioned in the last episode of s2 that if she will be invited for s3 she will accept it and there she is plus the original casts in s2
the rap OST is lit!! It'll take me so much time before I can catch up with all the eps released 'cause I have work π but I still love I Am Nobody the same as I did in S1.
You guys watch "link click' while waiting for I am Nobody s2. that white haired guy is one of the leads there and he has white hair too (okay this is a spoiler π)
watching so many kdramas for over 7 years made me lost my interest in it, I felt like it's getting dull so for the past 3 years I've been occasionally watching kdramas and barely finish it. this one I must say they really know how to capture the emotions. I'm kinda sensitive these days (part of adulting and I'm gonna step in the real world soon). this one is making me cry even though the scenes ain't that sad/heavy. it's just that I feel like watching my emotions being put into action. I feel like they're portraying the emotions I can't explain and somehow I feel a little better. so I will give this a 10/10 even though we're far from the ending.
That cemetery scene. I love how they inserted the happy ending for the older version of A'xun and A'tang. The timing of the background music was perfect.
