Scrolling down. It seems this drama has been a subject to hate train!!
There are Oscar-awarded movies I love and those I don't like, but I keep mum about those I don't like because I'm aware that with movies/dramas, it boils down to taste. For viewers like me who were fascinated by the depiction of life in a space station, of scientists who have unspeakable courage to work in outer space where even a millimeter of mistake could cost one's life, of scientists' dedication to finding ways to achieve miracles, WTSG is a treasure.

I beg to differ. I consider it among the best kdramas I've watched. The parallel worlds, the time freeze and time travel were mind-boggling. The OST is outstanding too.

I suspect it's sabotage. Saboteurs will blow up non-issues just to hurt a show. Same as in TKEM where an object that was onscreen for a split second was much maligned for not looking Korean enough. Ridiculous!
Another lie debunked... 🤣On February 17 and 19, 2025, the company visited the deceased's funeral and personally…
Did anybody care about the company going to the funeral? The issue was KSH not going to the funeral, having been close to the deceased. It's just an attempt to deflect from the issue.
Those who are equating the cyberbullying of Saeron with that of KSH don't get the situation. Saeron didn't deserve the cyberbullying she got. She was already being bullied by KSH and GM as it was. She published the photo to get his attention since he was ignoring her calls/texts. Had he not ignored her calls for help. she wouldn't have published the photo that triggered the cyberbullying. On the other hand, KSH deserves every admonition that comes his way. Not just for his relationship with a minor (they started dating when she was 15 meaning he probably started grooming her at 12 or 13; her aunt said he pursued her for "years") but more so for harassing her to her death. After she sent that text begging for help, his agency sent her another notice harassing her about the money. Recently, KSH and his agency claimed they had already resolved the money she owed. But why did they keep torturing her? KSH even paid a Youtuber to further damage her reputation. KSH demonstrated malevolent intent that drove Saeron to end her life. He deserves public condemnation, especially if Korean law fails her.
Whats the latest news? Did they release the diary yet? Or did GM issue any further comments?
Last reports I've read on Twitter: The TV show Good Day which he is a guest of said they'd edit him out of their show. Disney+ is putting his drama Knock-off on hold indefinitely.

It may not be perfect, as all dramas aren't, but calling it trash just put you in the hater category. I doubt you watched it or bothered to understand it. It's closer to a masterpiece than trash.
I'm starting to ask myself the same questions. I'm sure of one thing: I've never seen a trail of hate on a kdrama…
There's a current scandal that exposed a racket an actor has been doing to other actors - sponsoring or encouraging hate trains against them. He even paid a Youtuber to harass an actress. It's quite possible that LMH is a victim of something like this, i.e. there might be some nasty character out to get him, sponsoring/encouraging hate trains against him.
This intensifies my disgust for the kdrama industry. I can't stand unfairness and seeing a great piece of work being assassinated like this is quite distressing.
I also avoided MDL while watching this drama so as not to ruin my enjoyment. And I did enjoy it until I came to check on this site while waiting for ep 13, certain the majority of comments would be positive since I was wowed by it. And now I'm regretting not defending this drama earlier. I think one reason TKEM stayed afloat was because those who loved it fought tooth and nail for it from the beginning.

Like WTSG, The King Eternal Monarch is unique, fascinating and thought-provoking. Just because a drama is not your type doesn't mean it's bad. Many viewers love them, including me.

When this happened to The King Eternal Monarch, I checked the watchlists of the bullies and found most of them to be fans of another actor. Nowadays, anti-fans have become sneaky, seems like they're creating accounts to use for bullying, with no watchlist, but I won't be surprised if they're the same bullies as the ones that tried to sabotage TKEM
Don't be discouraged! There are still some that are worth watching!🙂
Yep, I have not totally cut myself off kdramas. My sister tells me what good kdramas she has watched recently and as long as they are on Netflix, I check some of them out, like Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I really enjoyed it.
A bunch of users under the discussion above about SPAMMING are a group of users who troll this comment and all…
Kudos for putting these haters on notice. Their ilk has turned me off kdramas a few years back. Makes one wonder what LMH had done to them for them to be obsessed with bringing him down. Or are they fans or water army of another actor who is considered his competitor? Regardless, they’re actually pitiful, having nothing better to do than spew lies and hateful comments. What a wretched life.
‘Been wondering whether kdrama haters are actually out to ruin the industry. I got so traumatized by haters of a kdrama years ago, it ended my obsession with kdramas and drove me to try cdramas. So I guess I have to be thankful to haters for pulling me out of an addiction and for pushing me to the wonderful world of cdramas. I couldn’t even make myself add the kdramas I’ve watched, except a few I loved, in my watchlist when I joined mdl last year. Nowadays, I have to tamp down the bitter taste that comes up whenever a kdrama interests me. Only a few, like WTSG, captured my interest enough to help me overcome that bitter taste I’ve come to associate with kdramas. And reading the comments, it appears I’m not the only one who feels this way. So, haters, keep doing what you’re doing and perhaps the world will be rid of kdrama addiction for good.
Eve had a choice to abort her unborn baby. She was on her way back to earth that would have caused the baby to…
Screenwriter is a type of scriptwriter. A screenwriter writes for tv, film or other screen media. Scriptwriter writes for any medium, screen or not. So, @leafless7 is right.
the end is bs. I don't care about moral issues raised here around him "having an affair", in real life sh* happens.…
About the "affair", Ryong made it clear to Go Eun that he is not happy about her announcing their engagement and any thinking woman whose bf gets mad when their engagement is announced should know what it means - he's out or he was not serious in the first place. He is not entirely blameless, though. He gave in to her advances even though he didn't love her. He never said he loved her but by being with her, he gave her hope. But this is a guy whose background made him unable to know what love is. So at least he was honest with Go Eun by never telling her he loved her. As for Eve, it was obvious she is done with Dong A after knowing about his affair with her friend. So, while Ryong may be somewhat guilty of cheating, Eve is not.
About the ending, I too would have preferred a happy ever after. However, I think that it was too much to ask. Being able to deliver a healthy baby in zero-gravity is already a big stretch. In any case, I'm happy for her, being able to contribute to science is a scientist's career goal.
