Oh damn 😳 I thought they would atleast keep the original arc. Which one is better? Novel or drama?

Oh really? So no empty Li Mountain? What is the story arc in the actual novel regarding Ye Li and her revenge?
Are some parts same or entirely different stories?

Anyone who has read the book and watching series, can you guys spoil it for me a bit? What exactly happened at the Li Mountain?
It looks like there were actually 2 tragedies that happened.
First is where the soldiers killed the seven elders/scholars and Ye Li is getting revenge on their behalf.
Second is the part the actual location/Mountain is empty and no one is alive there right now, as confirmed by her Senior brother/guard.
So how did they all disappear? Did a plague or something knocked them out?
In one of the earlier scenes, its shown that Ye Li tried to call out to the soldiers but the other brothers/disciples prevented that. And they all had cloth wrapped around their mouths, as if protecting from some sickness.

This also gets me thinking, maybe it wasn’t actual Monkey bites...but a disease maybe? Everybody started falling sick? And hallucinations affected them and killed ppl. Ye Li and her maid, maybe they tried to escape and her maid dies but she escapes?
And since the trauma was so great, she forgets about it entirely? And only remembers those seven deaths and not happened afterwards? 🤔🤔

Lol yeah and I think Ye Li has trained herself in all seven of her masters primary skills and that's how she knows sword art, from her master Zhu. Maybe after the seven masters get killed she trains alone on the mountain and hallucinates that they were still alive and taught her all the skills she knew 🤔

On ep 18 and I don't know what to think about Ye Li. My gal is having hallucinations, split personalities, pathological liar and also knows martial arts.
We are still at square one where the Li Mountain mystery is concerned and where do monkey bites come into all this? And the way her maid dies is still not revealed.
But thankfully Mr. Mo has uncovered one of her many secrets. Let's hope the next episodes give me more answers! So many twists and turns

Ep 5 is probably the most beautiful episode till now for me. SkyNani chemistry is through the roof mannn! What do you mean their souls are tied together till death do dem apart! Thats basically marriage right there lol!
I can't imagine how Nani filmed that matching tshirt scene without laughing 😆 that one and Sky cringing beside him was hilarious 😆
I need season 2 and season 3 ASAP!

I have only watched the first episode and I can say this series is gonna top my list of fav dramas of all time! Everything about Wu series is an absolute masterpiece 👌

Yeah they never showed this splitting into good and evil in the drama, not yet. Also another confusing part is that the butterfly demon came out of the cocoon and we don't see anyone else afterwards? Li Jie came to the Shilin Sect 10 years ago but the real Yuan Wuhuo died long before Li Jie came into picture.

Also where did the butterfly demon get that Heavenly book/sticks from? Which have immense power and defeated the other 2 flower demon hunter. In the drama we can see the butterfly demon's body getting damaged because of that heavenly power, which was suppsed to belong to some other immortal being 🤔

Still so many questions 😣

Splitting into good version and evil version...did they mention this in the drama or its just assumption? If the butterfly demon knows Li Jei is his other self and consumes him, as shown in trailer wouldn't it just mean they are all the same person? Not good version or bad version.

Also in the illusion when they show the Star stone exploring, in Yuan Wuhuo memories he see Ji Ling face, but calls him Xizai?
So who's the really yoinger brother who was blind? Is that Xizai? Li Jie or Ji Ling who was a small fox before?

In one of the dragon diety memories we also hear Yanan begging for the Dragon diety to save his brother, so in this case is it Ji Ling or Xizai? Are they same?

Its been 84 years 😩 and we still don't know who Li Jie is and his origins. Even with all the explanation I'm still confused 😆

I think its 50 years gap 🤔 and I'm guessing since he is the 10th dragon diety althought a baby still, they grow very slow? So he didn’t really age much...

So confused 😕 with the new episode ending. Li Jie and butterfly demon guy are enemies with same face, the fake Chi Wen knew butterfly dude as being someone from his past, but doesn't explain how he came back looking like a hot dude Yuan Wuhao 😅 also if the guy who got caught in the Star stone explosion was real Ji Ling and a fox demon took his form, and this happened years ago, why did Li Jie lose his memories 10 years ago and crawled into the Sect to get the dragon diety to help him...the timeline doesn't match...

Yanan' s character is the most mysterious of them all 😅 he is the brother of fox demon, also a butterfly demon himself and he's carrying those heavenly sticks which are eating away at his body! What else is missing? Lol

Looks like he's not a true dragon born but someone who was given that identity by the real Chi Wen, atleast that's what it seems like. But what's confusing me is, if Jing Li, and Yanan are actual brothers, why do they hate each other? And how was Jing Li saved? 🤔 still so many questions 😅

Yes, it kinda makes sense I guess. Also something I realized is that the butterfly demon has that book or script, something called heavenly sticks 🤔 and he was able to break free from the two flower demon hunter trap. So he's powerful and there to protect his brother. Something major must have happened for both to lose their memories

Ikr ! I had my suspicions and I recognized Wang Duo's voice. So either there are two Dragon Dieties, something went wrong, maybe Chi Wen misused his powers and something was reversed

Never knew I needed to watch Dudu and Joseph Zeng growing old together ❤️ it was so beautifully done! I'm so impressed by this couple 👏👏 and loving the illusion arcs a lot! A lot of mystery to uncover there!
