At this time Imma just hope that tho I won't be able to see this in this lifetime I'll be able to do so in the next. Hopefully my next lifetime won't be as homophobic
I'm kinda coming back from reading more of the novel and I gotta be honest... maybe it's not too bad that this drama won't be released. I just don't believe that 58 episodes would be enough for this beautiful and complex story. And I doubt that the story would be enjoyable if they had to censor it, since it would change the plot, like a lot. And it pains me so much that they replaced ShiMei with a girl π (not that I like him but for the plot) the only think I can't get over is not being able to see Arthur Chen as MoRan. (gosh I hate productions changing characters genders soo muchh)

Honestly I think one of the biggest problems is that this is way more straight forward gay than the untamed. It would be very hard to censor this into a bromance and I don't believe the fans would forgive them if they released it like that. Well at least they aren't allowed to change the ml.
someone on red note said that it is very possible for it to air this year and that it might be some kind of start for a new era in the film industry buuut again I think it's just delusion delulu is the solulu guys
