I'm kinda coming back from reading more of the novel and I gotta be honest... maybe it's not too bad that this drama won't be released. I just don't believe that 58 episodes would be enough for this beautiful and complex story. And I doubt that the story would be enjoyable if they had to censor it, since it would change the plot, like a lot. And it pains me so much that they replaced ShiMei with a girl 😭 (not that I like him but for the plot) the only think I can't get over is not being able to see Arthur Chen as MoRan. (gosh I hate productions changing characters genders soo muchh)

Honestly I think one of the biggest problems is that this is way more straight forward gay than the untamed. It would be very hard to censor this into a bromance and I don't believe the fans would forgive them if they released it like that. Well at least they aren't allowed to change the ml.
