I started to imagine: okay, maybe it's possible 🤔 because he focused all his strength on his hand - through martial arts - and managed to isolate the pain in his neck. He even managed to make a super clean cut in the neck, where he went through the skin, tendons, muscles and bones 🤣 and let's not forget the knife he used, which was tiny!!! 👀 so far, this has been the most absurd moment for me because it makes absolutely no sense that it's real 😗 buuuut I'm still enjoying it, but I laughed for a while after that scene because it's quite unrealistic 😂
Hey, do u remember when he falls in love with her? Cause I am on ep 2 but idk why he keeps her with him when he…
hahah 🤣 Initially, his only goal is to protect her because if she dies, he dies too... He doesn't care about her well-being; she's a tool he needs to survive... He is a person without fears and without emotions. But then you start to see changes in him and realize that he stops protecting her out of self-interest.
I started watching this drama mainly because of the actor, I’ve seen him in completely different roles before, and he never disappoints. This story isn’t just linear; it feels like a loop of fate and reincarnation. No matter what happens, they always find their way back to each other. The female lead coming from the modern world adds so much intrigue, was it real, or a dream? Personally, I think her soul transcended while in a coma, and he somehow followed her.The romance surprised me, not just emotional, but deep, spiritual, and intimate. Their bond is intense, the kind of connection where one could destroy the other, yet it’s beautiful. The ending is open but hopeful, giving the feeling they’ll finally live a normal, human life together. Ambiguous? Yes. But unforgettable? Absolutely.
Blue Birthday (2021) is a tense and intriguing mystery with a unique concept: traveling back in time through photographs. The story kept me hooked, and some plot twists really surprised me, especially around Seo Jun’s sister’s accident.
The leads, Ha Rin and Seo Jun, are likable and have good chemistry, but the romance was underdeveloped, there’s basically only one kiss, which left me wanting more. The side characters don’t stand out much, except for Seo Jun’s intense sister.
Overall, it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys detective-style stories, mysteries, and slowly uncovering clues. Don’t expect heavy romance, but the emotional moments are sweet. Solid 7.5/10.
I watched this drama mainly for the male lead, and it turned out to be a pleasant and light romance. The chemistry between the leads worked really well, and the story was surprisingly well-structured for just 10 episodes.
One of the moments that really caught me off guard was when the male lead saw the video of the female lead’s virtual boyfriend, I didn’t expect that at all, and it was such a shocking scene!
The romance is softer and gentler than usual, and while it’s sometimes not deeply emotional, it suits the tone of the drama.
Some secondary characters lacked development, and I would have liked a bit more emotional conflict, but overall it’s fun, sweet, and easy to watch.
I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a short, lighthearted romance.
If you’re looking for a drama with a complex male lead and a story that goes beyond just romance, Lighter & Princess is definitely worth watching. The male lead is strategic, intelligent, and emotionally layered, while the female lead grows naturally alongside him, strong and curious. The chemistry builds slowly but meaningfully, and the story balances tension, emotional depth, and clever storytelling. Even if you’re not chasing a happy ending, the journey is satisfying and the characters’ growth makes it a deeply engaging watch.
Pre-review – up to EP. 25 Slow burn, intense chemistry, and emotionally gripping. Li Xun’s love is instinctive and protective, Zhu Yun’s is conscious and strong. Trauma, loyalty, and trust make every choice feel real and impactful. Can’t wait to see how it unfolds!
