Title Dream to You
I thought the same thing... I understand the scene of wanting to be independent and not wanting to depend on him...…
Yes, I enjoyed the drama up to episode 10... From that point on, it seems like things were rushed or didn't make much sense... and I was going to give the drama a high score.

I compared this drama (with my friends) to a cheesecake: I love cheesecake, and this drama was like eating a cheesecake. But was it a good cheesecake? It was a good one but it wasn't the best, and it left a strange taste in the end...

If you were to ask me: do you want to follow your dream or your lover?

"I want both, because I'm not going to give up on my dream this time, and I want to grow, but I also can't give up on him because I already lost him once."

And I also didn't like seeing him suffer from missing her, but we never saw her side, we don't know if she also went through a bad time with his absence or not... it almost seems like it was easy for her.

Title Dream to You
I genuinely don't understand why they couldn't have a long-distance relationship...
I thought the same thing... I understand the scene of wanting to be independent and not wanting to depend on him... But was it worth risking the relationship for that?

Title Dream to You
[SPOILER ALERT ⚠️] My comment is a bit long, so if you don’t like reading long comments, you might want to stop here:

I really enjoyed this drama, especially the main couple. Their chemistry was amazing, and I loved watching them slowly understand each other, support each other, grow together, and finally see their dreams come to life. I was genuinely rooting for them.

That said, I have mixed feelings about some of the choices made towards the end. I completely understand why she wanted to pursue her own path, grow professionally, experience something on her own, and prove to herself that she could do it without relying on anyone. I actually think that part of her character development makes a lot of sense.

What I struggled with was the way she chose to create that independence. It felt like such a huge risk, especially after everything they had already been through. I understand that their past had been painful and that some of the things they experienced when they were younger left scars. But they were younger then. They are adults now. They had already grown so much, learned from their past, and built a much healthier relationship. I don't think the story needed to make them repeat the same kind of pattern.

I also understand that sometimes loving someone means letting them follow their dreams, even when it hurts. And I understand why he struggled with the situation too. But at the same time, I kept thinking that they could have faced that difficult period without completely putting everything they had built at risk.

What frustrated me the most was that we got to see much more of his side during that period than hers. I really wish we had been given more insight into what she was feeling and how difficult that choice actually was for her too. Because of that, some of her decisions towards the end were harder for me to understand emotionally.

And when everything eventually comes full circle, I couldn't help thinking: “You two really could have handled this differently.” 😭

Still, I really liked the drama overall. I loved their journey, their chemistry, the second couple, and watching everyone grow individually and together. I just think some of the choices towards the end were unnecessarily risky, and I wish the drama had explored the emotional consequences a little more deeply.

I understood her dream. I understood her need for independence. I just wasn't always convinced that she needed to put everything they had built at risk in order to achieve it. ❤️

I don’t want to mislead you about the exact episode because honestly, I don’t remember which one it is 😭 but it happens fairly quickly! And the drama still has quite a bit to develop after they get back together, so I really don’t want to tell you what happens because it would spoil the ending.

Just keep watching and pay attention to the phone calls. If you’re already at the part where he starts ignoring her, she gets really sad and realizes how much she misses him. She eventually tries to reach out and asks to talk.

And then there’s a whole thing with the phone number she thinks belongs to her mother… but I’ll stop there because I’ve already said too much. Just remember: pay attention to that phone call. 😉

Yes, there will be a breakup 😭 There’s a discovery (I don’t know if you’ve reached the photo part yet 👀), then a break in their relationship, and both of them kind of break down psychologically again. But don’t worry, there will be a very important phone call and everything will eventually be okay. 😉

I don’t think she ever had romantic feelings for him. They met in the past and were supposed to meet again, but she couldn’t make it because of everything going on in her life. For him, it became an unfinished story, so when they met again, he still had that romantic interest. For her, I think it was more like affection and friendship. She cares about him, but I never felt that she saw him romantically. And honestly, I never saw him as a real threat to the ML either. By the time the story develops, it becomes very clear that the main couple are emotionally focused on each other. They’re both in such vulnerable places that they end up becoming each other’s support system, so you can understand why neither of them really looks at anyone else.

He really likes her, but he eventually realizes that there’s no place for him in her heart. He’s there for her and supports her, but I never felt like he was there just to create a love triangle.

Just finished this drama and I genuinely loved it. I don’t understand the 7.8 rating at all. 🥹

I loved how it explored the fragile side of being human... anxiety, panic, depression, insomnia, guilt, and the importance of accepting help.

Both leads were victims in different ways, carrying guilt and pain that wasn’t entirely theirs, and watching them slowly heal with the right person by their side was beautiful.

I especially loved the idea that sometimes forgiveness is what allows us to move forward. And the symbolism of the white mushrooms, with their regenerative properties, tying everything back to healing and renewal? So well done. 🍄

I gave it an 8.5/10, which for me is very close to a 9. I only held back because I personally prefer more intense romances. But if you love slow-burn romances with psychological depth and vulnerable characters, this is honestly close to perfect.

In the novel, did she know about his fake death or did she find out later, and wait for his return?

It was because they remained so calm about this that I found it really strange... I wish they had explored this further...

But she didn't know, right?! How could she react so calmly? 👀 I wish they had explored his fake death in more depth and added more emotion when she saw him...

I finished watching the drama and I have a question ⬇️
He supposedly died, right?... And then he comes back... but the producers don't explain why he didn't show it, right?! Or did I fall asleep somewhere during the movie?... She spent four years raising a son alone... I was expecting more emotion when she saw him again... a sort of "how are you still alive? how come you never said anything? I've been alone this whole time..."

The canal is a very strong symbol: it starts as an unfinished project destroyed by war and mistrust, and ends up being rebuilt as a sign of reconciliation and unity between the clans.

This is the kind of drama I’d recommend if you like slow-burn political romance, marriage-of-convenience, clan conflict, and symbolic storytelling.

That said, it’s not exactly my favorite type of drama, because I usually prefer something more emotionally intense, the kind that really hits hard and stays with me for days after watching it. But I still think this one was very well written, with strong acting, good casting, and a very solid execution overall.

So I give it an 8.5/10 because it’s really well done, even if it doesn’t fully reach the emotional level I personally prefer.

Title Moonlight Mystique Spoiler
I really wanted to like this drama more, but I never fully connected with the main couple and couldn’t feel their chemistry. For me, the story only became more engaging when the second romance started developing and especially when the second male lead’s deity arc began. His character transformation was the most interesting part of the entire drama.
