The acting the Top notch
I absolutely loved Devil Judge.
Ji Sung as Judge Kang Yo-han is magnetic — charismatic, cold, unpredictable, and completely magnetic every time he’s on screen. His performance is one of the strongest things about the drama. He makes the character feel powerful, layered, and dangerously interesting.
I also really enjoyed the villain. The intensity and presence they bring make the story so much more gripping.
Just to be clear for anyone wondering: this is not a BL drama. There is strong male chemistry and intense interactions between the leads, but the story itself is not queer-coded or romantic in that way. It’s a dystopian legal/crime thriller centered on power, justice, revenge, and a broken system.
If you like dark, stylish, high-stakes dramas with an unforgettable lead performance, Devil Judge is very worth watching. Kang Yo-han alone makes it memorable.
