The problem youre having is the parallel worlds were never the focus. Its a plot twist that it exists in the first place. Focusing on it too much detracts from the point of the story which is Cirrus and Phu getting together.

I disagree. I liked this story line much better but a comment made by Noeul really signifies the difference in peoples interests. He said if you're into shows that involve thinking, piecing clues together and that sort TBNW will be enjoyable for you. Bingewatching it all at once will also be easier as the week by week wait will be stressful due to the unknowns. However if youre the type to not want to think and just want a feel good story youll be more inclined to LITA.

Not understanding the nuances of a character doesnt make it caveman mentality. Shes actually brilliant with the way she approached this. Having a character with no faults is so unrealistic. And considering Cirrus suffered from abuse and trauma from his mother to where he couldn't even form relationships with anyone since his mother would find a way to interfere of course he couldnt approach Phu. His mother literally sent people to kill Phu when she couldnt pay him off and she has been treating him like a caged dog his whole life. Growing up with no love and compassion messes with your mind and hes been experiencing it since he was born, even more so when the divorce happened and he was treated as an object.
In his mind approaching Phu would have been a death sentence for Phu. Considering all he wants to do is protect him, thats what he did with distance by enlisting Wim to check in on him and watching him from a far enough distance to where he believed his mother wouldnt find out about it as we know she had people trailing him too his whole life to make sure he didnt step out of line.
The only thing that pushed him to pursue Phu now was the dream of the parallel world where they are together after the accident. It gave him hope that they could be happy together without his mother intervening and he set about protecting and loving Phu for this reason. Not everything is black and white and thats true in real life.
He's not even a bad person. In fact he hasnt even been any bit of a bad character outside of the stalking which in reality everything Cirrus did for him, Phu was believing a guardian angel did meaning those actions he took were helpful in Phu's life.
Mental health is not a black and white issue and everyone responds to trauma differently and maybe considering that would make you more nuanced.

Have a different viewpoint is fine. However you can tell a hater account vs real criticism in the fact that 1) they gave no detail on what they didnt like and the improvement to be made 2) they said LITA had a better plot which shows they didnt watch this show if they believe this 3) it's clear as day the acting in this show is good and believable especially when showing emotion and displaying different characters (Boss and Noeul had alternates with different personalities and experiences so had to portray these characters differently) the fact you can see them as different when they have the same face speaks to good acting.
There are many criticisms you can take with a show. Everyone will always have differing tastes. Its impossible for everyone to 100% enjoy the same things. However, the difference between hate and criticism is obvious in how the comment is made.

The plot progressed as it should because the focus is this Cirrus working to get Phu to fall in love with him. So we got the build up of how he went about doing so. But the plot twister is the lie that he used to get close to Phu turned out to have truth to it and he learned that the hard way.
They dont break up. Phu just asks for space to think. He even says in the novel that he only wanted time to be angry but he knows himself to know if Cirrus was near him hed forgive him right away. He even says that to Cirrus

No it wasnt sweet love. Not in the way im describing it due to the fact those acts of love were hurting Phu at the same time they were meant to be a source of comfort.

Like Cirrus has been shrouding him in the love and attention hes been craving for years since his dad died. Literally taking care of him, not allowing him to be alone. Filling his heart. Knowing Cirrus lied you cant be judgy cause he isnt a cheater but even if he were from a parallel world like hes been feeling guilt the whole time and when Cirrus is dropping kisses on him left and right and treating bjs as medicine how is he not supposed to cave to it all.
