I'm going to say this.... Cdrama producers etc need to learn when to stop the making of a drama. In order to elongate this drama, they ruined it so badly. This drama had potential of becoming a masterpiece but no they kept bringing up silly plot and unnecessary twists. I am really angry. They even gave like 3 episodes to a mother that didn't appear for a longtime just to keep the drama going. And then the scene where Tu Li called Cen Yi out of nowhere (they didn't even deem it fit to conclude that plot). Why must every drama linger to 30 something episodes if they didn't have a solid script to keep it going. This is sad. I rated this 7 for their childhood and the last 2/3 episodes. Every other thing is below mid. For future watchers. You can skip after their childhood to the last 4 episodes. You wouldn't miss a thing.
The writers of this drama, are beginning to ruin it for me. So many things are becoming overstretched. Realistically,the leads shouldn't end up together. And for the first time watching a cdrama, I enjoyed their childhood, more than the adulthood. This was supposed to be an epic drama tho. I will keep watching for the leads.
Just here to say.... I'm glad he takes on different roles going against the usual stereotypes, refusing to be boxed or labelled to a particular character. Keep going Yuan, you are "that" actor👌
Zhou Mei I'm here to tell you this: You are doing yourself, not your mom. What do you mean, you want to marry a trash to proof a point to your mom. You will learn dear. Even if this drama doesn't give you the hard lesson. You are bound to learn in the long run. And your healing will take forever when the lawyer finally turns you to a total trash that he is.
And for the first time watching a cdrama, I enjoyed their childhood, more than the adulthood.
