Unfortunately things don't work that way. This drama is mirroring a real life experience. So you are suggesting a whole emperor becomes dumb and gullible because he allowed a woman become a minister??? If so, then he's not fit to be an emperor, he's not fit to be a leader.

Realistically, that "her job" was way too much and hasty. This is why generally speaking men do believe women shouldn't take higher or ultimate potical positions. Women tend to take actions before thinking, men think before they take actions. But let's see, it could be a planned work between both parties here. We wait and see.
