Man, I realised good makeup can make so much difference! HMH's role as Zhu Yan from fangs of Fortune looks way older and perfect to his Demon age. Here he looks so young as Ji Bozai! I love em both, but my all time fav HMH's work is Zhu Yan from Fof.

Ahh, that's right too! But you gotta give it to her, she sure knows how to network and get her deals done. Not many can pull that level of professional help. Sure the influential contacts are through her husband, but to know how to leverage them is not something anyone can do. She does have skill for it.

You make a good point, kinda changed my perspective about her. I remember being a little annoyed with her when the show started but as I saw how he treated her, it made me villainies him more. But now I see that she should not have started off any of this in the guise of love. She did bring it herself and karma did hit her hard. Both are at fault here (hiding the fact that he has a child was a little off putting).
honestly, i just hope they divorce. I like her life thriving with no man. I want him to suffer at least a year for all the suffering he inflicted on her. After that, sure they can get back together and she can get a wedding that she actually deserves, a one with her grandmother present.
I don't agree with Xu Yan's lies in the start, but I can empathise with her circumstances and her love for him and in some way...can justify her actions. BUT, I could never begin to understand him or I would never want to! He disrespected her in every way possible, betrayed her brutally. Man has a CHILD and DIDN'T tell her! I get the tit of tat fiasco that's going on here, but still not an excuse. He can go to any extent to get what he wants huh? That's not right. I'd be disappointed if she gives a second chance. His mistakes are Irredeemable.
Side note: Kudos to the actors, love em both here! Especially the ML who picked such a complex character to play.
Just a side note, what does it take to wipe off the drop of blood from her chin? It was bothering me so much. I could not take the scene seriously. It was still there even after she recovered! lol
