Ending sucks
I came to watch because of Liu Xue Yi and he did not dissapoint me, he carry his character 10/10 . Female lead is so annoying too much lying and over acting! Too many unnecessary plots. Ending is not satisfying. Better luck next time to me I even subscribed at WeTV for a whole year and even purchased express for this drama.Was this review helpful to you?

Absolutely loved this drama! The storyline is captivating, the romance is beautifully developed, and the chemistry between the leads is amazing. Every episode kept me wanting to watch more. Chen Zheyuan was outstanding and completely stole the show for me! The characters, costumes, and overall production were also fantastic. A perfect blend of romance, mystery, court politics, and humor. Definitely one of my favorite C-dramas and a 10/10 for me!Was this review helpful to you?

⭐ Underrated Gem!Melody of Golden Age is honestly such an underrated
C-drama! 🥰 Despite the female lead being annoying at times and her best friend REALLY testing my patience 😂
I still found myself thoroughly enjoying this drama.
The mystery and investigation storyline kept things interesting and I especially loved watching the relationship between Shen Du and Yan Xing slowly develop.
Ding Yuxi was fantastic as Shen Du, and the chemistry between the leads made the drama even more enjoyable.
It may not be perfect and there were definitely moments that made me want to scream at the FL and her best friend but somehow the drama still managed to keep me hooked until the end.
Definitely one of those C-dramas that deserves more attention. If you skipped it when it aired in 2024, give it a chance! It’s much better than the attention it received.

A MUST WATCH
I tried watching this and oh my gosh, all four main characters and even the supporting ones are absolutely gorgeous and charming! The plot was really good — it kept me hooked, and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I enjoyed every episode! The actors delivered great performances, and the production quality, visuals, and costumes were amazing. I also loved how they changed their beautiful outfits all the time, adding even more charm to every scene. The whole drama was engaging, emotional, and well-paced from beginning to end. I watched this drama mainly because of the male lead, Ryan Cheng, but I ended up loving everything about it! The female lead was charming, and all the supporting actors delivered great performances. Chen Xing Xu and Zhang Rou Nan share incredible chemistry, making their on-screen relationship feel natural and engaging. Their acting brings depth and charm to the story, making it even more enjoyable to watch.The plot itself is a delightful mix of sweetness, humor, and excitement. Whether through witty dialogue, heartwarming moments, or thrilling sequences, It keep me entertained from start to finish. OST are all good too.

A waste of good actors!!
Overdo is seriously overdone! 😂 How many times can these characters get beaten, injured, and nearly killed, only to magically bounce back like nothing happened? The amount of punishment they survive is just ridiculous. The story was exhausting from beginning to end, and I swear, I struggled so much just to finish it.
