it bothers me a bit that this writer really likes to put an old man and a young girl together and in this particular one I cannot shake off the feeling that the FL acts as his mom. If I didn’t know the writer is a woman, I would’ve even thought that this is some classic male fantasy that you as a middle aged unsuccessful pathetic man will for sure meet a young beautiful girl that will understand you, embrace you and have the same problems as you.
To be honest, now knowing they didn’t kill his dad in the webtoon I’m wondering if the drama will have a layer of healing from such traumatic experience. I don’t think there’s any other reason to add that sign that he’s severely depressed.

It’s all so cruel and heartbreaking and the worst thing is that it’s already happened. We only can think of how King Sejong’s beloved grandson would have lived.
The plot is pretty simple but what makes this movie outstanding is the actors. Yoo Hai Jin was mind-blowing and Park Jihoon, I really think he’s gifted, and I can only pray that he stays healthy and acts in more films and dramas. Something tells me he’ll becoming even bigger because there’re so many stories his eyes can tell
