So here's the thing:

Jane Patrick is normal human with 200 iq. People asks favours from him but later he wants something in return which can be hella costly. He's interested in jane alee because he never asked for any favours as "jane alee is not like others" (which I found quite shallow knowing jane patrick)

Big jane leaves little jane in the end of vol 1 as he noticed that little jane lost his spark and after pudit's death little jane suspects big jane and said in the heat of the moment something like "since we're in a contract I want you to leave me."
