BrazilLong-time lurker upgraded to prolific commenter. Commenting is basically what I'm here for, though I also like getting recs and talking to people who have similar or opposed views. I really love analyzing and theorizing about what might happen in media I'm into. I also enjoy complaining about stuff (including entire shows) that I think could be better, storywise or otherwise.
I prefer fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and mystery to pretty much any other genres or subgenres; if you have any recs that fit, let me know, and I'll take a look. I'm partial to vampires, ghosts, rock bands, and amateur detectives. >:D
WARNINGS:
There's a 43% chance my comments are either about very obvious or completely out-of-left-field theories I have thought of. Those may or may not be correct, and I take no responsibility for being too imaginative. Handle with care.
There's a 30% chance anything I say is about weak storytelling, too much exposition, illogical plot holes, minor contrivances, or other issues (real or imaginary) I've had with the media I'm talking about. If you're the type to think that everyone who dislikes a show/episode/movie/wtv should quietly stop watching and never criticize, you really shouldn't read what I write. I recommend using the block button.
There's a 12% chance that any given comment is just complimenting stuff, people, or even other comments. You should be safe when meeting these in a dark alley.
There's also a 9% chance that one of my comments is simply asking about something I'm confused about and was too afraid of spoilers to search for. These are mostly non-offensive, as far as comments go. Hopefully.
And finally, there's a 6% chance that I wrote a behemoth of a comment including things from different categories: for example, a mix of what I enjoyed and what I despised, peppered with a couple of questions and a few compliments to round it out. It happens.
(The aforementioned percentages are 100% fake. The content isn't.)

A quick FAQ
1 - Who are you? What should I call you? What's your deal?
Ace. I'm a weird cat lady (is there any other type?) who reads a lot of murder mysteries, has a bunch of succulents/cacti/orchids, and suffers from insomnia and migraines. I like reading, writing, playing visual novels and other dialogue-heavy games, tabletop roleplaying games, classic JRPGs, supernatural stories of all sorts, folklore, making watchlists and TBRs, binge-watching shows and let's plays, and talking to myself. I'm really eclectic when it comes to music, but I tend to listen to more rock and alt pop than anything else these days. I love tea and tisanes.
2 - Where are you from?
Brazil. My English is kinda rusty, so I hope littering this website with my opinions might help me with that.
3 - Do you watch BL/GL?
Yes, but not exclusively.
4 - Are you even queer??
Yeah, but I don't think you have to be to watch/read stuff.
5 - What kind of queer?
I'll tell you on our third date, if you make it through the first two~
6 - What kind of content do you avoid like the plague?
Anything with noncon elements that get romanticized or used for titillation (what a great word!), angst-corn, torture-corn, corn, AI slop.
7 - What do you think about AI?
I get deeply annoyed by "AI art" (yes, TPP, I'm staring at your snaky opening while I write this) and am known to have gone on rants against gen-AI before.
I also make sure to make all sorts of typos and weird language choices (such as using slang from different eras, choosing oldschool emoji, preferring long words with Latin origins, inserting bizarre parentheses all over, adding constant Oxford commas and too many adverbs, living for atypical word order, etc) so no one could ever think I use it.
8 - Ugh, you sound judgy and annoying.
I know. (Though I'm an INFP, not an INFJ.) I'm both auDHD and righteous. Deal with it.
9 - No, thanks. Btw, you write like an old person. Are you an old person??
Verily. I was born in the nineteen hundreds (19xx, to be inexact) and identify as a millennial.
Dinosaurs still walked the Earth when I was in high school. Every fujoshi got into the hobby through either CLAMP or Gravitation, and only 3 non-Japanese people knew the word fudanshi. Blogs on Geocities tried to explain the difference between yaoi and shounen-ai, all while using Kaori Yuki manga as examples. The word "fanservice" was typically used to talk about any of many J-rock stars grinding against one of their band members, and visual-kei yaoi RPF (with or without lemons) was all around the "interwebs." How nostalgic~!
