Are people complaining? I haven't read comments further down, and I didn't really care in the show because Lu…
We all know that this could happen in reality but it is something that should NOT be romanticized. Having consexual s3x with a minor is still statutory Rap3 for most countries and that makes the other BL fans uncomfortable watching. Just because it reflects the reality, doesn't mean that we have to promote it. Make sense?
The main couple is giving me predatory / grooming vibes but I don't mind because in the gay reality, this is a common thing. Am I in favor? Definitely NOT. Am I enjoying it? Definitely Yes. I had a similar experience where my partner and I have a 20 year age gap. I was 19 back in 2007 and he was 39. I was a college student and he was a former professor from our University that moved to another uni. We are still together today.
So much going on in this series and for me this is poorly written. They want to have reveal after a reveal after another. They want every episode to peak for each scene. All evil characters here are so powerful like there's no conscience, no justice, and no hope. I also do not like plots where the writer or the director has blessed the character/s to get away with everything with no repercussions. It's terrible.
Update:I just learned about this genre, Makjang where the plot is intentionally written this way. So I am appreciating the absurdity now. 🤣
I think because Tian Yu sent letters telling Jin Run Fa not to go to Taipei & so he stopped him from becoming…
So in effect, they copied Kimi no Nawa/ Your Name in terms of using his delayed response in the Red Mailbox, to change the A - Xiang's future. I think it was lazy to rely on that concept especially there was no distinction of time or reality. I understand that there are differences in Creative Processes but I fully grasp why some are confused like me. There's no clesr hint that this will lead to a fantasy, or did I just miss a detail?
The Marketing did a very good job of promoting Unrequited Love as BL. All the stills and trailers were hinting BL. Using Fandy as one of the protagonists, a very well-known BL actor for History2 gave false hopes. [B]allon's [L]anding is a mind conditioning title with a sublininal message that it is BL but it is NOT. For it to be marketed and classified as BL is definitely disappointing. For a story of Unrequited Love, this is just so - so. Overall, it's a meh!
That was one of the worst ways to end a plot for any series. A finale episode should always bring some closure even if you want to leave a cliffhanger. The teachers did not even have their own closure. I am aware that there will be season 2 for this show but this is terrible.
