The mascot NC scene was the highlight of the episode, everything else felt dragging and repetitve especially the conversation with Uncle Jo at the end.
I've never seen proper Flashbacks in any recent (thaΓ―) drama ... And for so many, so many, drama, we keep having…
It was really messy to have a flashback within a flashback without any indicators that it was indeed a flashback. The director does not include distinctions for flashbacks or even for imaginary scenes.
I started watching today and Ep 1's editing is terrible. It kept on reusing shots and scenes so somehow it messes up the timeline. Flashbacks should not reuse videos but should show us a different angle.
The wig choices were terrible.
I still have high hopes for this since I am just at episode 1.
If only they removed the wish part and just have a normal shooting star, the story can progress on its own. I'm at episode 10 and I am as confused as everybody else. This is supposed to be a good summer vibes, island breeze, summer love, BL Plot but the Metaphysics aspect ruined it for me.
Many will disagree with me but I think the story doesn't need to be BL. I am aware that they have edged us for 2 years only to get this ending.
If you look into the concept, this is very typical for those who chose to be closeted because of the environment that they grew up in. Ryu and Johan both lived in a male dominated environments where being gay will have no room for them. Especially for Johan, poverty has stricken him so hard that he will never have a room for romance.
In a latter part, it was revealed that they were never partners it was not fully clear between them but we all saw how hurt they were.
The finale just sealed the deal for us and gave us all the confirmation that we need.
I can accept genuine criticisms about my favorite shows, but to say that Teetee and Por have no chemistry??π…
Love of Siam is not even the first. Thailand is not even the first to do it. Young generations now have all these technology but do not know how to use it and learn from it. BL is not new. Please educate youselves before coming to me.

I said what I said. I never claimed I am superior, but I am very sure that this series has nothing new to offer. I thought it has a plot that is groundbreaking, but... Meh. π€£

True BL fans can evaluate this shoe fairly and not with bloated votes. I got pulled in to watch this show because of the hype and got disappointed. Like I said, I have been watching BL for 20 years now and this show has nothing new to offer.

Whatever you see in them, good for you. The series was a flatline for me. I have series with slow burn for narration but this one has nothing new to offer. It fits right inside the box of every BL stereotype you can think off. If I have seen this in 2006, I would have applauded and enjoyed this but it's now 2026 and this series felt lame. The writer could have been more creative than this.

I cried a lot.
