in my eyes it is just not the same😭😭 - the point that really makes a difference for me is that... Win goes…
I kinda get why you’re saying I guess... but Win was already in love with Nut when he was 17, he just didn’t fully realize it until later(there are multiple scenes that show this)now he’s back in his own teen body, revisiting that old crush <- that he still has. he’s not a 40-year-old man pursuing a 17 year old - he’s essentially re-living his own youth and getting a second chance. that’s why it feels completely different from Promise of the Soul for me.
also... calling it mental gymnasticsmakes it sound like I’m twisting logic to justify something unethical😭😭 but isn't the narrative about reflection and second chances and not manipulation??? the focus is on revisiting his own life in the past, not pursuing someone much younger, no?
it’s kind of like getting a do-over in life... imagine you had a chance to go back to a time when you were younger and make different choices, with all the wisdom you have now. You’re not chasing someone else’s youth — you are just reliving your own, seeing old feelings in a new light. I think the story is really about reflection and growth, not about taking advantage of anyone. your totally entailed to a different opinion though😭

brooo 😂😭😭 I don’t think you got my point… it’s really not about looks or age (I honestly don’t even find him that hot btw😭 - besides the point though), it’s about how the story is set up. Win didn’t randomly fall for a 17yo as a 40yo man — he literally got sent back to being 17 and re-met the crush he already had back then. that makes it feel like a second chance at his own youth, not a grown man tricking a teenager... so yeah, I get why it might read differently to some people, but that’s why to me it’s just not the same as Promise of the Soul
I occurred to me today that Win is back in his teenaged body but he's still essentially a 40-something man --…
in my eyes it is just not the same😭😭 - the point that really makes a difference for me is that... Win goes back to his youth and get's a second chance. he didn't randomly fall for a 17yo boy while being 40, he traveled back and got to see his old crush <-- that he started liking when he himself was 17 - I don't see anything weird or disturbing in this storyline contrary to the premise of "The Promise of the Soul" (haven't seen it btw.. the plot was to weird for me😭)
the Japanese version is good as well - it follows a very similar story, just a few differences here and there, the overall vibe of the Thai version is definitely fluffier though
brooooo I'm out😭😭😭 I just can't take this serious. I'm not trying to bash the show - I kind of am though😅- this directing is making me go insane, like what the hell!!? the scripttttt - bad to😭 at this point it turned into a comedy for me.. but I now that that's definitely not what they were going for... I can't handle the over the top drama/acting
I just can't get over the scene in ep 5 - the end of ep5.. u now what I'm talking about when she was telling the story we got to see what they though happened - the scene was depicted in color (this is important, trust😂) after having told the story the situation get's out of control... bla blah blah - then we see a close up of Mild's face and then something that seemingly looks like a flashback - in black and white - which clearly separates that scene from the one before ,when the girl was still talking about the storyline because that part was colored😭
now what I don't get is - why???? why differentiate those to scenes, right... my explanation: the first one with color is the girl talking depicted on screen for us to see the second one how ever is something in Mild's mind - and now the question from me is.... why would he imagine getting r*ped if he didn't??? and on top of that it is black and white which makes it even more seem like a flashback😭😭
and of course there is so much more stuff that just - u know 😭😭 really not okay?? takes that where out of this world : "things always happen for a reason" and "it's been a long time... can't you get over it now" <-- they were referring to r*pe btw -_-
okay guys... I guess I'm gonna sit this one out😭 happy watching to who ever want's to finish this anddd... good luck??
