10/10 Have tissue ready. As with most Japanese BLs the storyline is amazing. I assume there is lots of Japanese culture brought to life in the approach being made in this story. You will learn by episode 1 or 2 one of the main leads dies. The way he still interacts in the story is where the Japanese culture part comes through. There is a similar storyline in HP series when talking about the deathly hallows, so it's not as creepy as it sounds (I have seen negative reviews addressing this). This is a love story that gives a chance, their "miracle", to love to the fullest with their remaining time. Be prepared to cry, a lot.
10/10 Impacting, emotional are real don't know how could anyone give this movie less than 10 stars. The acting is incredible. The emotions that the actor convey is award winning material. The story so beautiful. The camera shots and the sceens are a work of art. Pluss it incorporates very real situations. It breaks your heart.
10/10 Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity is really a Magic! love this series! I love each character portrays reality of a persons feeling. How our insecurities affects us. It is not only just a BL series it is something we should look forward. It is so easy and funny to watch. In a times like this, something to make you smile is really a great deal.
7/10 Can be realistic was a cute BL. I loved how in-depth it was. It was honestly realistic, the flashbacks of the past and how their life was not perfect. I know a lot of people who lost their virginity at a young age, so it felt more repeatable than other BL's. Being friends with benefits happens a lot also, even if people don't realize it. But there are a few things that bugged me a bit. A lot of unnecessary flash backs. Not even them as a kid, but flashbacks of the earlier episodes and so on. The ending was very rushed, most of episode 7 started off with a bunch of flashbacks and it felt very short paced. I think they could've done better with episode 6,7,8. But other than that, it was cute and relatable. Nice BL!!
8/10 They Became The Couple Of A BL Drama It's been 2 years since the first season (the really really short season with only 3 episodes), finally.. the time has come for season 2! And it didn't disappoint me. After the cliffhanger of season 1, the sequel continued the plot with added spice to the romance. There's a more in-depth coverage for the managers, too. And since it's been going so well, I think hoping for a season 3 is not asking for much. Fingers crossed!This series is a breath of fresh air! It has all the key components with a dazzling and animated cast who have the perfect chemistry for this fun plot. The first episode was absolutely hilarious, and I found myself totally engrossed in the little details of the characters and their unfolding story. The wit of the script is palpable and there were a few times, ! thought to myself that this writing was perfect. I really enjoyed each character, and although a very short series it managed to keep me fully invested until the end. The premise is intriguing and the characterisation and misunderstandings make it so interesting and relatable. You can really empathise with the main character's point of view and work-life stress. It makes you think about how easy it is to misinterpret people, and how misguided behaviour can be harmful yet easily resolved if you allow it. This drama has no toxic notes but leaves you with a nice and happy feeling.
7110 Sugar Sweet Life This is the vanilla kind of BL series. Meaning there's no violence, abuse of any kind, toxic of any kind, or anything negative which can make you feel any kind of bitterness in life. It also means that there's no scandalous scenes of any kind. So for those who expecting some spicy scenes, ! suggest you skip this one, cause you'll be disappointed. That being said, even though my description kinda made it sound boring, it really isn't. The main lead is a pure hearted person who doesn't have any malice in his mind. And the other one is a kind and brave police officer. Both characters brew a slow burn romance drama for the audience, which only bloom at the end of the series.
10/10 More intense BL This one is a little bit more graphic, and straightforward than other BL dramas. I like this one a lot because it is more realistic as a setting. It is still very fictional though. But the conversation and reactions of people to what is happening I felt were more believable as far as my experiences in Japan go. Also, this is one of the times that I think that they got the chemistry between the two characters pretty right. They are not all stereotypical and don't stay in the heteronormative concept...
7/10 Family vibes, pure wholesomeness Was hooked right from the start. Tane-kun is the best wingman ever, except when he's third-wheeling hard, bud dad really is the best, how does he know? I mean how do we know? We get hints for Minoru but Yutaka I had no idea at all, like how? When? So the relationship was not given any space to grow and develop really, it just suddenly becomes a thing and here I was thinking Yutaka was shocked out of his mind. Also Yutaka has family trauma in every single episode but it turns out it was more in his head the whole time? His brother did not do enough or what am I supposed to think? This series really excels at wholesomeness but manages to be so subtle about some things, maybe the most important things, that it fails its story and characters for me. But hey, it's all about family vibes. Maybe best keep it a bromance.

It's a great palate cleanser without a ton of action or high-intensity scenes; just the blossoming and unfolding of a cute and wholesome high school romance. They made the right choice to keep it at 8 episodes that were about 24 minutes each. Any longer and I feel like it would have gotten too tedious, repetitive, and boring to watch. It can be a bit cheesy and maybe even cringy at times, but the overwhelming cuteness of the relationship between Takara and Amagi overshadows those moments. The writers and actors both did an incredible job figuring out how to accurately portray many high school romances as well. There are so many moments of miscommunication that could be solved so easily. Some viewer may find that it makes the show unenjoyable, but as infuriating as it could be, it feels very accurate and appropriate for the age range being shown. Overall, I loved this show. I thought it was so sweet and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something lighthearted and laid-back.

"If it's with you" is exactly that, because it is one of the cutest shows I've ever seen, although there's always an element of angst lurking underground. Amane (Okura Takato) moves to Enoshima to finish school after unpleasant, if not traumatic experiences with gay lovers (or maybe clients?). In his new school he meets Riuyi (Hyuga Wataru) and immediately falls in love with him. Riuyi, however, doesn't have much time as he runs his late father's restaurant. Both actors do an amazing job displaying the doubts and fears of gay boys coming of age, and they are both extremely handsome, so that their cuteness makes the viewer forget about the hard road they both had to travel.

But dang !!! I was wrong. And good that I was wrong. It is such a brrath of fresh air. I loved this series. It's about a younger man with a long cherished crush on his boss (ten years older and going through a mid life crisis who decides to save and seduce said man with pancakes. It's wholesome, comforting, sexy, and a very necessary narrative about still having hope, interests, and openness to affection at any age. It's coming of age/queerness packaged in a subtle critique of expectations around masculinity and love and loneliness... and it's beautiful. MUST WATCH!!

This drama depicts two unrealistically adorable boys accidentally discovered their sexual-orientation and fell in love with each other, reminding people that how beautiful and pure a relationship could be. I am most impressed by how the two characters reconciled with their own identity and dealt with the social environment together. The Japanese-style respect and communications also makes this drama light-hearted and sincere. The fast pace of story-telling is perfect, though i would not mind spending more time watching these two innocent boys' interactions. This drama rebuilt my love and moral standards, after having witnessed so many ugliness in reality. I am grateful that i watched this. Love to Michieda, his action was impeccable.

Ritsu storms out of their apartment and later is involved in an accident which results in amnesia. Ritsu remembers everything apart from his relationship with Fumiya. Fumiya, who feels sorry for him, tells Ritsu that they used to be roommates. They are back to living together again and both young men find themselves falling in love with the other again. Can they maybe start anew? Oooh, boy, this one could have turned out depressing and dark. But it's not. It's a gentle story of two gentle souls who break up because of a misunderstanding and fall in love again. The production is calm and dreamy and you drift through it like through a beautiful dream. Ritsu and Fumiya are one of those couples where it doesn't need passion and fireworks (oh, there is passion, it's just not over the top), instead Jack O'Frost delivers quiet romance and domestic What I loved most about the production is the wonderful, natural chemistry between the two (gorgeous) leads. It feels natural and not forced, you can feel that both actors are comfortable with each other and if they were not, they are damn good at acting as if they were. Also, and this is what I really would like to emphasize: Their love and kissing scenes were to die for, to the point where they pull you in and you want to watch them over and over again. Jack O'Frost is a typically bittersweet Japanese BL (and I love those and if you decide to watch it, you're in for a good time. Also, it only has six episodes, so it's not too long. 10/10 I wasn't bored for a moment, I didn't have to fast forward and it warmed my heart.

This series also underlines how hard it is true grand trust again after having been hurt that badly before. Hence, there is a lot of drama here. However, these dramatic aspects are not front and center, but rather an underlying current. This makes it all the more amazingly good to me. The ending is really amazing as it turns their story into a circle with the ending they should have had from the start.

Even though Watarai is very popular, he grows tired of it because no one sees him for who is. They all like him for his looks. When he overhears Hioki complements him for his kindness, he's intrigued by this one person who doesn't focus on his looks alone. Deep down, it's about being seen, and Watarai feels seen by Hioki. When they start dating, it was a relief that their friends readily accept them, even though they have to deal with a possessive and jealous Watarai. Hioki feels jealous too but he backs off, not feeling confident he has a right to be with Watarai. I loved seeing them work on their communication. There were just so many things to love about this show.

The series allows viewers to witness not only suffering, but also the quiet healing that comes from connection and understanding between two people. Overall, Happy of the End is a well-crafted series that blends darkness and romance in a thoughtful and meaningful way. It offers a realistic portrayal of damaged souls finding solace in each other, leaving a subtle sense of hope beneath the sorrow.
