who is paradoxically pink here? Not having read the original manga, i can't tell the extent to which the storyline has been adapted. Most viewers claim absence of harmlessly fatal banters (laughs) and complained of shallow interactions between the leads. This short series on V:ki took me too long to complete. I would blame the cinematography because journalism was different from it's contemporaries as a premise, years ago. However the narrative contained typical elements like reserved and disciplined passive partner, cynical and carefree aggressive partner who flirts women prior to realizing his feelings for his colleague. An EXILE enthusiast pointed out that the agencies of Keito and Yutaro respectively, planned their promotion outside the insular country hence opted a BI. Fortunately, they won't be dragged into toxic shipping culture owing to no stipulated work partnership contracts. Opening theme song is playful and slow unlike most J series. The chemistry between main leads neither impressed nor disappointed me thus i can't recommend this series..... gomen.
I loved this. Short and sweet. Definitely one of the better ones l've seen and may even be my favorite Japanese BL. It was well-written and well-directed. The casting was great: two actually good-looking actors with great on-screen chemistry. The acting was good, too; there were still some awkwardness here and there, especially in intimate scenes (BL guys just never quite know what to do with their hands, do they?), but overall, it was some pretty solid acting from the whole adult cast. I made the mistake of reading the manga halfway through the series run because I got impatient with the weekly release. It was a mistake because I robbed myself of the otherwise worthwhile experience of going in blindly and being pleasantly surprised by all the good things that a well-done show can offer. While I loved the manga and this faithful live action adaptation, I really think I would have enjoyed this a lot more if I didn't have the source material in my head as I watched it. Nevertheless, ! loved the series and I can't wait to rewatch it in one sitting this time.
10/10 Beautiful story, beautifully told I loved every character portrayal, the story, the imagery, everything. This is a masterpiece. Sometimes BL is an overused school-kid trope, generally involving engineering majors. This is not that. It's a beautiful story that is well told. An unlikely (from the outside) pair find solace for their loneliness together, and embark on an emotional, twisting journey. No spoilers, but I will say it's sort of a happy ending. It could be happier if it wasn't for some legal discrimination, but that's not something the writers can change alone. Kudos to the whole cast and crew for making this lovely series.
First off I'd like to say it love is love. If you have an issue with someone loving some one else than that's your problem. There's no grooming so stop talking about it or acting like there was ever. This is a very good show. Shintaro is a smart young man and knows what he wants in life and figured it out at a young age. Akria on the other hand Shintaro's love interest well...lol different' story. It seems like he didn't know what to do with his life and just went with the flow. That doesn't mean he isn't a good soul tho. When they where both younger it turns out Akira saved Shintaro's life and that event stayed with him for ever and that's what made him fall in love with Akira. Shintaro makes a promise to himself he doesn't want to see Akria cry and wants to be by his side for ever to protect him. I feel like season one started out slow and I would have loved to see Akira stop acting like the way he did the first half of the show. Even when Shintaros an Adult he still acts the same way it even continues in season 2. I really want to see a season 3 but he needs to stop acting like a kid. I feel like most of the problems could have been avoid if Akira would grow up and stop causing them and just ell him how he feels and stop pushing Shin away. I feel like i spend the half of the second season yelling at akira to stop breaking the relationship lol. I want to see there relationship as a real couple now for season 3.
8/10 Love it but some stuff I didn't like Obviously I'm going to tell you right now, the age gap was so weird. When I first started watching, it was very hard to watch because I could not stop thinking about the fact that the age gap was 18 and 30. Also in the beginning I got a lot of second hand embarrassment. It was good though. I didn't have much of a problem with the rest of it though. I got a lot of butterflies and even though it was a huge slow burn, but I really enjoyed watching it. I haven't watched the second series yet but I'm hoping more well romantic things happen in it if you know what I mean. And I'd love to see more of the second couple as well! Anyway overall a great BL.
7110 Call Him Yuki Already! This is not the first Japanese BL series about actors and film making. But this is the first one which digs deeper into the film making factor. And the knowledge about it makes the plot even more interesting. The acting was decent, the plot was straight forward without any major plot twist and it has a happy ending. There's only a simple plot twist which can already be successfully guessed by the audience at least I did). The main leads developed a great chemistry, although when it comes to the intimate scenes, something was missing. The story was sweet and enjoyable, although there's something that's still bothering me till the end. Why Asami kept calling him Shirasaki-kun, when Yuki already called him by his first name? In my opinion, this is one of the many things that made things a little awkward.
8/10 Surprisingly Enjoyable Honestly, I went into Battle of the Writers with pretty low expectations because of the low rating but I didn't bother reading the negative reviews. To my surprise, I actually ended up enjoying it! It's a light, easy-to-watch romance with a touch of comedy. If you're just looking to relax without getting emotionally wrecked, this is a great pick. It's heartwarming, cute, and has a calm vibe, not a complicated or heavy series at all. I especially liked Shan and Ob-aun's backstory and how it ties into the main plot. Also, I really appreciated the scenes where they brought their own novel to life, short but creative, and their wuxia costumes were on point! Visually, the cinematography was beautiful and the OST was chef's kiss. Tutor and Yim's chemistry? Still as strong as ever. If you've seen them in other series, you know what I mean. The side couples also had really good chemistry, which made the show even more fun to watch. Ob-aun's flirty little daydreams were adorable, and once he and Shan became a couple, their non-stop flirting had me giggling like a crazy. I watched the uncut version, and it was spicier than I expected. Too many kisses and NC. Speaking of NC, it felt natural and not cringey or forced at all, which I appreciated. Don't let the bad reviews turn you off. Just try the first few episodes and decide for yourself. Sure, the writing isn't perfect, and yeah, there are some cheesy parts, but overall it kept me entertained. That said this series has no big drama, no villains, no stressful or unnecessary plot twists-it's just a feel-good series. I enjoy action-packed dramas too, but sometimes, I'm just in the mood for something mellow and sweet like this. Maybe I'm just not a harsh critic, or maybe I'm easy to please, but for me, this was definitely watchable, way more than some shows I've rated 5 or below (feel free to check out my other reviews if you're curious 00). However, there were a few things I noticed: some early episodes had unnecessary flashbacks, and there was this round table scene where the camera kept circling and made me dizzy-l had to skip it. Also, some of the makeup was a bit much but their outfits were stylish, so I'll let that slide. The title is kind of misleading. I thought it would be an actual battle of the writers, or maybe an enemies-to-lovers plot, but nope, they're all working on the same BL novel. Still, it turned out to be a pretty solid watch.
10/10 | laugh and crying in every episode I read the manga first, then I watch this.. It is look similarly with it's manga.. The casts are doing great acting.! watching this till episode 9, and till I wrote this, I dont know how much episode do they have. But I hope it should be long story series. But unfortunately, the duration is arround 25-30 mins only per episode. But so far, it is quitely touching.. They don't showing any nudity or even sensual activity.. Literally love story between 2 boys, where they complement each other. The boys are super kawaiiii, and their acting seems so natural. Not only romantic, also the comedy is good.. I hope it can be shown in netflx.
Seriously, the series is a masterpiece, the characters are amazing, the interaction between them is amazing, and Om's acting is 10/10 as usual. Ling is amazing. He's very handsome, and his acting is very beautiful, literally, actually. I have been enjoying this series for a while now and look forward to watching it every Friday. I'm currently obsessed with the duo. They are my favorite duo now. The series, in terms of story and acting, is very wonderful, and the atmosphere of the series is enjoyable, from sadness to extreme joy. I highly recommend watching the series, you will not regret it. My passion has truly returned. I love Om and Ling very much.
8/10 Kiss You At The Blossom This is the first BL Wu Xia series that I've ever watched. If I had to compare its fighting scenes to other Wu Xia series, then I'd say that this series is lacking in that department. The fighting choreography was not good, especially with the main actor. You can see that he's not really good with martial arts just by looking at his movements. As for the visuals, it's really good. The plot is also very straight forward, it's not hard to follow. The acting was decent, from most actors anyway. Personally, I think that Leslie Li's acting was too stiff. I mean, there's a difference between a tsundere character and a wooden statue. Just because he had to play an icy cold person, doesn't mean he had to be expressionless while getting stabbed in the shoulder. Maybe he needs to take more acting classes.
10/10 Cast and Performance Only friends is about complex relationship and toxic red flag persons and their personality which leads to the interwined storyline with each other. Plainly the story is good. The screenplay is good. Boston is not the Boston we knew back then. Whatever I am not hyping the storyline. The only thing I want to speak is about the Cast. It is not easy for the actors to express complex roles but actors are really amazing. EarthMix are such a nice choice to be in the position to lead the show. They are amazing actors. JossGawin has their own story moving in good path until Boston came back. Three of them are also very expressive in the manner it needs to be. I was amazed by AouBoom. They are fabulous and Fantastic. Boom's role is not easy. He has to show pressure from his mom, the expectations. He has to declare he likes Jack while having a kind of relationship with Rome, has to fight with Dean. Honestly AouBoom impressed me a more. Aou is doing the serious role. It is his charm. He is showing different personalities from his past roles too. The actors and their acting are really amazing enough to hook up with the show till the end.
7110 | Saw You In My Premonition This BL series falls into the supernatural genre which focusing more on the romance side. The plot is straight forward and not being dragged out too much. There are several little twists along the series, but nothing major. The acting was decent, for most actors anyway. The ending was also satisfying, so there's no need to worry about sad or bad ending. My only complaint is just that sometimes it's unclear if the events being shown to the audience were dreams or reality. And it makes the audience confused sometimes, at least until the main character wakes up. They should've made the dreams more obvious, that way no one will get confused.
10/10 Welcome to the bi world Halooo my trainee You are a wonderful experience to me.like I never expect.cooking crush is so bad I thought you are also bad .but the reality make me realize a good filim maker can make a master piece. Your a very good experience for me The vishual was amazing The cast look fit together Story decently good. Lot of things going to happened Offgun is their gm tv The power couple of gmmtv. But still their is are lot to watch. Honestly speaking its just a first episode. I need to waite for more episode to under stand you l just love The first episode its eppo adorable looking forward to the episodes that going to happened soon.
8/10 Good Solid series worth watching I really enjoyed this series and watched all of it too fast. :) ! didn't enjoy the character of Tew because he didn't seem to connect with / have chemistry with Guy, but I also realized that that's what type of character he is. Being a gangster he doesn't show emotions well, if at all. The story line was enjoyable because of its' differences in the usual BL storylines. Overall, a good watch with a good script, good acting, and good direction. This director also directed Together With Me the series which is another one well worth watching.
5/10 Inadequate work towards Prequel of Tonhon Chonlatee M FLOW entertainment released this series in 2 formats on Yo*t*be, both with the same cast and story. One is a draggy series of 12 episodes, 1hr each, while other is a compilation of 'Ai' and 'Nhai' exclusive scenes concised into a 2.5 hr movie. I am grateful for the latter so those attempting to watch can wind up sooner. It is insisted to play the video at 2X for the story to proceed at normal speed. A typical college romcom with no substantial content. Most of the script sounds stupid and has unnecessary pause in between dialogues. I could find the needed glimpse of neither aerospace nor engineering in the whole scenario. Now I understand why their country hasn't made any significant progress in space research. I guess the director chose to dwell only on the pun. I appreciate the Casting team for picking people from the community. Porshe and Arm looked naturally adorable. Yes, they are official. Meen has presence and can be coached further but Ping is just mediocre. Certain scenes did speak about revelation and acceptance towards orientation other than heterosexuality. Personally, there is no depth in character sketch of the roles. Production department is nowhere to be blamed because every scene was well propped, cars, bike, uniforms, keychain, plushy, locations and interiors. Too much skin smoothening and excess brightness made it difficult to even look at the screen. Most of the screen time has no back ground sound hence it felt bland. The pair looks good on screen but hair color on Ping (real life) is distracting. I admit my bias towards Meen-Est from LBC2 so I couldn't feel their intimacy despite the sweet romance flowing every 5 minutes. With their upcoming 'Mafia Oppa' project, lets wait and watch if their work improves in quality.
9/10 Just ignore Ping's cognitive impaired albino existence Who knew Meen-Ping could be extorted this good, P'Apirak to be completely accredited for which. P'Golf, yeim jing jing. The ambience, narrative and choice of sport reek of NBA. 'Ryu' and 'Zen' reminded me of 'Luke' and 'Nat' from 'One Tree Hill'. Finding an untainted Bl centered around a 10 feet high loop is difficult, nonetheless, script writing team has clearly impressed me if not for the exaggerated 'granny-loves-that-lonely-child' trope. Apparently, the benchwork is based on a 2005 English film however looking at the gradual dissipation of foul feelings between leads it could resemble the recent biographical Korean film by Jang Hang-jun. Ending laid a convincingly plausible track for future enterprise. I opinionate its structure to be better than 'Wandee Goodday', coming from the same crew. Mozarts composition by MAIYARAP throttles energy levels, exceedingly. I almost forgot to mention, Jet-Prince interaction struck a chord with me. Frank, good to see you in a notable role.
10/10 Comedic, mature, lovely, fun series to watch The series start was unexpected Taynew and other cast nailed their characters. Toto and kanit relationship is from enemies to lover and I can't wait to see their dynamics, it will be fun to watch them fall in love slowly. Beer jokes were too funny . Mond was funny as hell too,Ryu's character made me pissed but I know he is good actor if he can do that Juno and tonliew for fresher they also did good job • .! knew Director jojo will never disappoint, and the series storyline is so good. Everyone should watch it if they want something fun and comedic series to watch after exhausting day.
10/10 Living Duang and Qin Love everything about the series. From TeeteePor acting skills to plot and production, to the writer and director and all the supporting role seriously everyone just gave their all and we can see how wonderful and beautiful the series is. Most of all love to see the improvements of both the two main lead portrayed their characters and l am so so into their acting as it just beautifully projected their emotions.
10/10 Our beautiful Wang Jinghan. Best actors with superb performance and no one can replace them. A beautiful story and the way everyone is doing their parts are incredible... Specially our Wang Jinghan as pei yanzhi....what a lovely performance..how he is devoting his love without expressing it to the one he love..the eyes that speaks woahhh...a great performance..love you all and all the best to you all...and I really love everyone's performance...
