10/10 unironically my favorite BL series
10/10 unironically my favorite BL seriesThis series seriously shocked me! Went into it expecting another forgettable bl story with a predictable storyline but this one was different. I love the actors and i actually laughed a couple of times. Only qualm is that theres only 4 episodes in s1, and 3 in s2. (the 4th is a "behind the scenes" special) in season 3 im hoping for 6 but i bet it'll be good regardless. The show digs a bit deeper into l's instead of it just being surface level (as in the usual "shy boy x popular star student" combo) and it sortof makes fun of that stereotype. I like that the "side character" gets a love interest of his own, despite swearing to never fall to the BL universe
overall, i loved this series, and im absolutely praying for a season 3!

7/10 Watch the prequel first
7/10 Watch the prequel firstThis series follows on from TharnType 2, but there are still gaps. The 60m episode/series: called The Secret (Love)
(2021) on MDL, fills those in. The Secret (Love) only seems to be available on streaming sites like dramacool where it's called, Don't Say No: LeoFiat Special (2021).
It includes the LeoFiat** scenes from Tharntype 2 and the last 15m is of scenes after Thartype 2 or filling in the gaps.
They show how Leo and Fiat started to get together.
** NB. Some of the scenes with just Fiat and Type are not included.
I quite enjoyed Don't Say No up to about Ep 9. After that I felt as though I knew what would happen. Some great parents and friends, mental illness, and pretty good chemistry between the leads.

9/10 When Hate Turns Into Love
9/10 When Hate Turns Into LoveThe Proper Way To Write Love isn't actually as bad as some people claim, but it does have noticeable plot holes, and a few scenes feel pretty boring.
I know it's fiction, but part of creating a good series or movie is making the storytelling believable. That's why it felt unrealistic that Natsuo was already into Hiro from the very first episode. Even if he said it was "love at first sight," no normal person would ask a stranger to date them the second time they meet - that would probably freak anyone out.
Another thing: they've already hung out several times and even dated, yet they still haven't exchanged phone numbers? That just doesn't make sense. And I still don't get why Hiro pretended his hand was injured when the show never explains how it supposedly happened - especially since he was faking it. Even though the series is short, there are fillers and scenes that don't really serve a purpose.
I did enjoy the rivalry/love triangle in episode 5, though. It added some much-needed spice to the story. And honestly,! have to admit that I enjoy dramas like this just as much as I love wholesome, fluffy ones.
It's pretty shameless that Hiro's former classmates are still criticizing him even though they're already adults. They still act like high schoolers, which feels unbelievable to me.
Conclusion: I see the series as a revenge story with a twist:
Hiro ends up falling in love with Natsuo. The plot may start with revenge, but the genre evolves along the way - and I really love Hiro's character growth. Natsuo, on the other hand, is a walking green flag. Hiro probably just misunderstood him back in high school.
Overall, it's a watchable series and good for killing time, but nothing groundbreaking.

9/10 Kawaii
9/10 KawaiiSo, so cute! One of the best BL out there. Keishi is insanely handsome. His boss is the cutest thing. The acting is great. I felt for both of them, smiling nonstop until things started to go south. I gather from the other reviews that some people didn't like that part and couldn't understand the character's reactions.
I do. Yes, people are becoming more and more tolerant, but make no mistake, in Japan and everywhere else, there are still a lot of homophobic people, even if they won't let it show. Also, the age gap is enough to get criticized. Being in such a relationship could jeopardize someone's career, even today.
Anyway, this is one of my favourite BL. I can't believe no-one speaks about it. It kind of reminds me of Old Fashioned Cupcake, but it has its own charm.

10/10 First Note of Love: A Sweet Tune to the Heart
10/10 First Note of Love: A Sweet Tune to the HeartFirst Note of Love is a heartwarming Taiwanese BL drama that follows the story of Neil, a once-promising musician haunted by the past, and Sea, a talented young composer.
The series is a delightful blend of music, romance, and personal growth.
The chemistry between the two leads is palpable, and their performances are both endearing and captivating. The slow-burn romance is beautifully executed, and the emotional depth of their characters is impressive. The series also features a strong supporting cast who add humor and depth to the story.
While the plot is straightforward, the execution is top-notch.
The music is a standout, adding emotion and depth to every scene. The cinematography is stunning, and the direction is skillful.
While there are a few minor pacing issues and some underdeveloped side characters, overall, First Note of Love is a must-watch for fans of BL dramas. It's a heartfelt and uplifting series that will leave you smiling.

10/10 Loved it
10/10 Loved itLoved the story and the amazing leading men. This was my first bl drama would love to see these two together again.
Have watched it numerous times. Also liked the body guards and their love for each other. Would recommend to anyone is a must see drama. Have started following them on Facebook, they are precious together, couldn't believe how young they are, loved the story line. Have found many bl dramas are centered around colleges or baking so it is a breathe of fresh air. I have several favorites that I can watch over and over and this is definitely one of them. So much chemistry between the leads, many bl are forced with non believable affection.

8/10 Every Breath, Every Tears
8/10 Every Breath, Every Tears//////////////////////////……………………………………………………………….
This series is a collage of mini series. It contains several stories which intertwined with one another. How you asked?
Oh, you're gonna have to watch it yourself to find out how.
I'm not gonna spoil it. All you need to know is that the stories are in many genres. Some are heavy on the comedy, some are heavy on the drama. Personally, I like the main story better than the rest. Yes, there's a main story. The others were side stories. But nonetheless, all of those stories were delivered decently. Not to mention, the main couple in this series is my favorite couple from "My Universe", TopMick. They have amazing chemistry! All of their delusional die hard fans must have been thinking that they're an actual couple.

10/10 A first class BL lakorn
Film and Jam's series "To Sir, with Love" was one of my favourite series of 2022. It wasn't a typical BL series, but a lakorn with a gay lead couple."Laws of Attraction" was promoted by the production company as "Film and Jam's first BL series", but again it's also a lakorn, and both Film and Jam's characters in this show are not really "boys" any more, but grown up men.
When Tinn's (Jam Rachata) niece is run over by a politician's son's car, the polticians's lawyer Charn (Film Thanapat) decides to help Tinn find out what really happened. The story has a lot of plot twists and exciting side characters, e.g. The improbable couple of the politicians's son Thaenthai (See Paratakorn) and his bodyguard Thee (Peral Satjakorn) and club owner Rose (Organ Rasee) and singer Maya (the wonderful Silvy Pavida).
The story, the cinematography, the directing, and the acting are all first class, but it's Film's smirk alone that makes this series worth watching.

9/10 Simply Amazing
9/10 Simply AmazingFunny, Cute, Adorable, Meaningful, Light, Clean.
This series is one of the best BL series out of the 60 odd series that I have watched so far. So I was really surprised to see that it has a rating of 6.9 only on IMb, and decided to create an account to write this review.
So what makes this series so good?
Romance: You can actually feel that the characters love and care for each other. There are many moments that make your heart flutter and many that make you feel shy.
Humor: The humor is clean, natural, delightful and abundant. No toxicity. No negativity.
Story: The story is simple, consistent and connected, with some element of surprise. The main characters are honest, sincere, grounded and mature. They know the usual attitude that people have towards same-sex relationships, and instead of fighting them, they find rather creative ways of doing what needs to be done.
I found it so good that I ended up watching it twice. I hope you enjoy it too.

3/10 Lacking Flavor... and Audio
3/10 Lacking Flavor... and AudioHonestly, it wasn't THAT bad... If this wasn't dubbed (absolute trash dubbing btw) then it would've been easier to watch. I finished it, but was ultimately left confused and dissatisfied. The twist at the end made no sense. It had an interesting comedic aspect to it, but there was nothing else.
Barely any romance, actually I don't even remember a kiss.
It's filled with glances and weird characters. I can't think of much else to say since there was nothing to it. Get my man Longshi Lee in some better series!!
