Unexpectedly nice doctor
Overall, I liked the lakorn. It's rare when all three couples are perfectly suited for each other and have incredible chemistry. At the same time, all three couples are completely different. I was delighted with Arm's new face; he's simply so pleasant to look at and has such a sweet, calm character, yet so relaxed in intimate moments. I hope to see him in other roles. The second couple was incredibly hot-the looks, the kisses, and everything else-it was absolutely delicious. I watched nonstop to the end, which is rare for me; I usually skip straight to the end after episode 5.There are some downsides, too (cliches and typical lakorn nonsense, like two wives, etc.). For example, in the episode where Per gets shot, everyone spent an hour trying to figure out why and who did it, while the poor guy sat there bleeding. It was a weird scene. Also, the intimate scenes were a bit implausible; for the first time, it was like clockwork for the guys. But it's beautifully filmed. Overall, BL lakorns occupy a worthy place in their genre! I think the rating is unjustifiably low. In response to the previous review, "Doctor is boring," it's not! Make sure you know the genres before writing about non-canonical relations - this is BL!

Yakuza... BL!?
From the first scene, I knew this series was going to be more dark and gritty then romantic and soft, which makes perfect sense considering it's within a Yakuza plot. The character dynamic is definetly a unique one: Odajima, the one ordered to kill Kataoka, the young boss, an admired and compassionate man, finds himself struggling to complete his mission even with his 7 year long grudge against him.Odajima has been living a horrible, rough life which Kataoka manages brings light to.
For only six, 25 minute episodes, I was deeply invested in this series. The feel of it is sad, intense, and quiet. You could never really tell the outcome. I loved the kissing scenes (unimportant information) and I think they built a great bond during an insanely difficult situation. I'm happy with the end and I'd recommend this to anyone who likes the darker side of life and romance.

The chemistry between the leads was the core magic of this show — soft, playful, and surprisingly intimate, even when the plot was drifting into full mythical drama territory. And let’s be real: the underwater scenes were low-budget cute, but the acting carried everything. They sold every longing glance, every heartbreak, every moment of trust.
The final episodes tied things up with that mix of sweetness and ache that only fantasy romances can deliver. I loved how the show never forgot that being from “different worlds” wasn’t just a metaphor — it was the entire emotional weight of the story. The ending felt satisfying, warm, and honestly much more heartfelt than I expected. If you enjoy BLs with gentle romance, soft fantasy, and characters who grow because they finally find someone worth fighting for, “Lover Merman” is a small gem worth watching. It’s not perfect, but it’s charming, emotional, and leaves you with that quiet little glow in your chest.

10/10 The PT Universe comes to life! So Ji-sub IS CQC personified!
As an absolute fanatic of the original Manager Kim webtoon and the entire PJ Universe, I was terrified of how they would adapt this into live-action. But after seeing the premiere, all my fears are completely gone.First off, the casting is perfection. So Ji-sub completely embodies the weary, slouching "salaryman" look, but when his Close Quarters Combat (CQC) instincts kick in, he turns into an absolute demon. The fight scenes are insanely faithful to the panel art-they actually captured the technical, brutal weight of his moves without masking it behind messy editing.
Seeing Seong Han-su (Choi Dae-hoon) and Park Jin-cheol (Yoon Kyung-ho) on screen together with Kim gave me literal chills. The legendary trio of badass dads is finally here, and their dynamic is just as chaotic and epic as it is in the manhwa. If you've been waiting for a faithful, high-budget webtoon adaptation that doesn't tone down the violence or the hype, this is the holy grail. Long live the PTJ Universe!

10/10 Must-watch seriesLove of Silom is freaking amazing. This series has everything: comedy, emotions, action, romance, etc. And everything is balanced so perfectly.
The cinematography and lighting are absolutely stunning.
The actors and crew did such an incredible job bringing the story to life. And of course, UpPoom's chemistry never disappoints- they're truly one of the best on-screen pairings.
Definitely a series worth watching!
This series is honestly so amazing, and the actors are incredible. Their chemistry is soo good. I loved everything about it the cast, the cinematography, the acting... it's truly amazing and deserves all the support and views. Four episodes have been released so far, and everything about this series is absolutely amazing. The storytelling, the events, every episode leaves you excited for the next one.! really hope everyone watches the series and supports UpPoom they worked so hard for this series.

PERFECT VISUAL
This series is one of the best series that has been released this year so far. The actresses gave justice to each characters they portrayed. Storyline on point and perfect.The visuals is very awesome. I just love how they still stick to the novel as much as possible, but they still put they're own touch on this one. I'll give the actresses a whole 10/10 review, I just love the acting, each line they throw toward each other is freaking worth watching for.. GAYS i recommend this series a perfect novel adaptation.

After watching the first episode of Perfect Crown (The Perfect Crown), I can confidently say it meets - and even exceeds - my expectations.IU and Byeon Woo Seok are perfectly cast in their respective roles. IU delivers a magnetic performance, portraying a bold, sharp-tongued, and elegant character. While there are slight echoes of her iconic role in Hotel del Luna, this portrayal feels more refined and layered. Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok convincingly embodies a prince burdened by responsibility - cold, proud, and emotionally restrained, yet deeply in love with her since their school days. His inner reaction to her unexpected marriage proposal - when she appears with a symbolic piece of red cloth - is both subtle and incredibly endearing.
The story unfolds amid an intense struggle for power. She carries the weight of being the illegitimate daughter of a powerful conglomerate, while he bears the responsibility of ruling as regent for his young nephew, an eight-year-old king who ascended the throne after his father's tragic death in a fire. Adding to the tension, his sister-in-law opposes his authority, creating an immediate layer of political intrigue.
One of the most fascinating aspects of the drama is its unique world-building. Unlike traditional historical dramas set strictly in the Joseon era, or fully modern series, Perfect Crown presents a hybrid "modern monarchy." It seamlessly blends traditional elements - hanboks, servants, archery, horses, and swords - with contemporary luxuries like designer bags, high heels, and luxury cars. This contrast feels fresh, visually striking, and adds a distinctive identity to the series.

Summoned to the palace by the king, he is paired with Saeng-gang, a court lady who can hear the voices of spirits, to uncover the source of a deadly curse that has taken root in the East Palace. As the two travel between life and death under the king's secret orders, they begin to peel back the layers of a haunting that reaches deep into the royal family's past.
-Nam Joo Hyuk as Gu-cheon. Why Gu-cheon? In Korean folklore, gucheon refers to the otherworld where souls go after death. Spirits with unresolved resentment or lingering attachments to earthly desires are said to wander gucheon, unable to ascend to heaven and fully leave this world behind. cheon, a man who can travel between the worlds of the living and the dead.
-Two Worlds: The East Palace was filmed in identical physical locations across different seasons, then used contrasting colour grading - a crimson palette for the Realm of Gwi and cooler tones for the living world to differentiate the two registers. The spirit realm is not an alien environment. It is the same palace, in different weather, under different physics. The dead are not somewhere else.
They are here, in the same corridors, the same pond-separated by ontology rather than geography.
-Every poster tells a story: In the main poster, see Gu-cheon standing in the crimson realm of Gwi, bound by a rope that Saeng-gang holds in the living world. She is the anchor. He is the scout. Together they constitute the instrument the show needs: one who can act in the spirit realm and one who can receive its transmissions.
The East Palace sharply exposes the terrifying depths of human depravity hidden within the most exclusive and opulent tomb of the Joseon Dynasty. Ticket to Heaven is one of the most compelling and emotionally rich series currently airing. With outstanding performances from Gemini and Fourth, exceptional direction, beautiful music, and a story that explores themes far deeper than romance, it is a series that deserves to be experienced. Every episode leaves a lasting impression, and the more you pay attention, the more rewarding it becomes.GeminiFourth delivers far more than a typical BL with Ticket to Heaven. This series explores love, faith, identity, guilt, fear, and self-acceptance in a way that feels deeply human and incredibly moving.
One of the strongest aspects of the show is P'Off's direction. Every frame feels intentional, filled with symbolism, visual storytelling, and subtle details that enrich the narrative. Many scenes communicate more through imagery, composition, and hidden messages than through dialogue, rewarding viewers who pay close attention.
Fourth's portrayal of Tanrak is particularly outstanding. This is not an easy role to play. Tanrak is not simply struggling with his sexuality; he is caught between his feelings, his faith, and the fear of what those feelings might mean for his future and his place in heaven. The character carries doubt, shame, longing, confusion, and hope all at once. What makes Fourth's performance remarkable is how much of this is conveyed without words. His eyes, facial expressions, and micro-expressions communicate emotions that dialogue alone never could. He doesn't just play Tanrak-he becomes him.
Gemini also continues to impress with each episode. His performance feels natural, sincere, and emotionally grounded, creating a beautiful balance with Fourth's more internalized portrayal. Together, their chemistry feels authentic and deeply affecting.
The much-anticipated kiss between Barth and Tanrak was not memorable simply because it happened, but because of everything that led to it. Every glance, every moment of hesitation, every silent exchange throughout the previous episodes built toward this scene. When it finally arrived, it felt earned, emotional, and deeply meaningful rather than merely romantic.
What impressed me most was the chemistry between Gemini and Fourth. Their performances make it easy to believe that Barth and Tanrak are two people desperately trying to navigate feelings neither of them fully understands.
Even in scenes with very little dialogue, the tension between them is palpable. Their connection feels natural, intimate, and heartbreakingly sincere.
The OST deserves special praise as well. Gemini and Fourth are incredibly talented performers, and their music adds another emotional layer to the story. Every song feels carefully chosen and perfectly placed.
What makes Ticket to Heaven special is that it is not merely a story about romance. It is a thoughtful exploration of faith, identity, acceptance, and the conflict between religious expectations and personal truth. The series trusts its audience to read between the lines, and the result is a story that stays with you long after the episode ends.
A beautifully directed, brilliantly acted, and emotionally profound series that deserves far more recognition.

But if you want a romcom with chaos, playful energy, lots of funny moments and strong chemistry between Boss and Noeul, it's easy to enjoy. I watched for the comedy and stayed because the pairing still feels entertaining to watch together.

Hidden 'Sarawatlism' on replay
I'd begin with approving the effort of the script writing team in bringing forward an informative and idealistic slice of life.Thankfully no dramatic revelations at the beach under scorching sun. Locations were scenic. In his earlier drama
'KK'(Joong) lived in our current condo while in this series
'Zo' lives in our old one. Those who know, just know it.....! would prescribe this series to those famished of pampering as it is a warm and cozy example for viewers about organizing interests and achieving dreams. Dunk needs stability in gestures (unnecessary strutting is distracting) while Joong has improved his presence on screen (his vocals are fine too). Finally he did admit that his tongue causes troubles even if only as the character. There are plenty of 'kung king mung ming narak' scenes for Dungjangs. P'Tee has urged for acceptance through the subsidiary CP 'Aou-Boom' whom I am anticipating in 'WE ARE'. Frankly, I wouldn't re watch because it feels like Teletubbies at18.

It's generally well written (need more character info) The actors are good in their roles and very easy on the eye.
Overall it's an awesome series and you get invested in the story and what will happen next etc.
My only issues with the show are that the episodes need to be longer as some scenes feel rushed or crammed together to a certain extent.
Also it would be nice to know more about the character's lives and backgrounds to help us understand them better.
I also didn't like the ending of the last episode it felt like it was a last minute change in my own opinion.
These are just my own thoughts on the show, I really did love it but just a few tweaks and it would have been much better.

10/10 Very well written and exceptional performances!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Let me just say I watch a lot of Japanese and Korean films and dramas, in which most of the time I fast forward to parts that appear interesting, because the majority of the storylines just come across as "filler" to me. This is the first drama in a very long time in which I enjoyed watching every second. Elaiza Ikeda's acting was amazing, why she's not a lead in more films is a mystery. In fact everyone in this drama was great. I never write reviews, but was compelled to give a review for this drama because it was just so damn entertaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9/10 A very original plot, with mature development and quite a nice cast.I was really pleasantly surprised by this BL series. I suppose the main reason is the originality of the plot. Everything starts with a certain focus on some friends trying to develop a vlog channel, when a "newcomer" enters the scene. Then slowly our attention shifts on the new relationships develop, and equally importantly, on how these ones affect the old ones. When secrets slowly get revealed, the plot thickens.
What I really liked about this particular aspect, is that the secrets themselves, although they trigger changes, it is not their revelation per se but rather their effects on which the story concentrates.
The acting is quite good. Perhaps not stellar, but then again it is not needed. This is one of the rare cases in such series, that the emotions of the characters are adequately described by their actions, and therefore overly emotional outbursts are not really necessary (which does not mean that the characters are blunt, it is simply that the series does not rely exclusively on the chemistry between couples). I also liked the side couple's story, which beyond filling air time also supports the plot (having been an established couple for four years). All characters are mature (in the sense that they adults and use their heads, but also grow as time passes by. Perhaps they are all a little bit too good-hearted, but then again this does not save them from pain (which for a change does not stem from a crooked world or a particular big bad wolf).
Perhaps some viewers will be perplexed about the existence or not the temple our adventurers are looking for, but in my opinion this is completely irrelevant. The quest more than adequately serves its purpose in offering material for the vlogs - it gives the backbone but not the flesh and blood to the plot. It is nice to occasionally have a story which is different, in that it makes you think a little bit, and not just brainlessly cry your eyes out.
Compared to the overall rating of the series, give it a relatively low rating for the rewatch value. This is no contradiction, it is simply a consequence of the genre. It is neither a comedy, where one wants to listen to funny lines again and again, nor a sweet romance, where one simply wants to enjoy passion. Here we are dealing mainly with realizations, which per definition are absent in any subsequent second run.

"Ever 9" robot, I would probably fall in love with it.
This film confronts us with the same moral question as Steven Spielberg's film "A. I. Artificial Intelligence": "If a robot we create can truly love a human, then what responsibility does the human have towards the robot? Both to the one who created it and to the one who uses it." When it comes time to create such advanced robots, this question becomes very important.
