I find the plot pretty good—neat and reasonable. But the acting doesn’t quite live up to it, especially the actor who played Klao. Or maybe I just don’t really get the overacting method Thai actors use to make things comedic. It’s a very decent series, though. I just wish we could’ve continued with another season with them in the modern day.

The novel’s official ending is definitely better and feels way more complete than whatever they did with the show. The show just feels so incomplete, especially with the way they soft-launched Commander Yai for like 30 seconds and then never brought him up again. It really feels like they originally planned to have more seasons, but yeah, the chance of that happening is like 0.089% now. I’m just glad I read the novel!

Honestly comeback to this after 3 years. Still, i don't understand the weak damage control when they driving the plot to the dead end and no way to drive it back. This show need ss2 to have proper happy ending. OR PROPER ENDING.

Because the way Rio act around and react to Sota-related news is just so...friends coded lol. That will solve everything. Otherwise, it's a mess for everyone involve.

The food is nice, but the way they build the FL just gets creepier with each episode.
Everybody in that village is kinda weird in some way.
Also, the camera work is very distracting—too much erotic focus.
It makes it really hard to focus on the plot or even the food.

E4 here and i just wanna ask what's going on with the FL closet? and also, the Hayashi girl is TOO ANNOYING for an 25mins ep. Seeing her face make me want to skip the whole ep :)
