For fluff you have Fourever You Part 2, very well done fluff π€£
Is that sincere? I've heard a lot about Part 2 being good, but I've made two attempts at the first arc in season one and haven't made it through yet π
I enjoyed the actors and some of the sweet moments, but that's not enough to sustain me for 12 episodes. I was actually dreading watching the last episode because I knew it would be dull fluff, but I wanted to tick it off my list. I would love to see a concept like this done with higher stakes and actually meaningful development. Like you pointed out, it was obvious everyone was in love with each other from the start and their motives, while not necessarily good, all came with understandable justification designed to inspire sympathy. There was no real chance to grow. None of the characters were actually morally grey here and the difficult grandpa plot made me roll my eyes multiple times.
Not to say I don't enjoy fluff or comedy or stories that are light on the plot, but this just didn't deliver for me.
I was rooting so hard for Ink and Nunew π I love when they do the role change for the nametag game, keeps it interesting and gives all the players more of a chance. This was genuinely one of the funniest episodes, I think I actually shed tears during both the donut game and the karaoke. This show is actually pure serotonin. So happy we get Off again next week!! π₯³
Oat dragging both Teetee and Por during the candy race was soo funny π€£ and Tay not winning the round after his pants ripped and they had to restart hahahahaha
I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of this, I liked the actors and I liked watching their relationship develop. I didn't find the flashbacks confusing at all, for me they were the best part.
But the whole plot with the saesang and her brother was really weak and shifted the direction of the show in a way that didn't do it any favours. Also frustrating to watch Sae Byeok keep all the letters in the house.. they both live in and have Ha Nueal stumble upon them in not one, but two timelines(essentially). like okay, you don't want to go to the police so at least hide the letters properly lol. But do go to the police because there has already been one attempt made on your lovers life and your father literally died. And don't they screen their mail in the prison? like even if the brother takes it out with him, you would think they would check it. Also sheesh, that brother agreed to do a murder mighty quick. I'm annoyed. I think they could have gone for a more grounded conflict for the couple and they could have reached the same place emotionally in a much less convoluted way.
reading the first line of the summary over and over again trying to figure out if Kaji is ace, only to finally read the second part and then the first part properly and realise I need to get some sleep.
I'm intrigued. I wonder if it will be a slow burn friends to lovers, or if they will speed run through the established friendship to to the steamy sexual tension infused sports ball moment. I really kind of hope we get thrown in the middle.

I hope to see the actors again in something else.
