Non-reader here, but I heard they changed the plot quite a bit. Plus the FL will have a significant character development, let's hope the ML will have character development too. Plus we got Director Randy Che in the core of the creative team. I actually have a high expectation for this drama.

Me too! I didn't even follow Linghe nor Xiwei before but I heard about the infamous fans' dispute and have lost all hope long ago. But then they announced hi6 promo and I am on cloud nine! I don't care how they interact later, the fact that they will go together to promote Zhu Yu is already blessing for me! I just want the shoot to be filmed smoothly 🙏

I read comments here and there that there are changes in the drama adaptation (and from what I understand, quite a lot) Plus I read that ML harsh treatment actually influenced FL to grow (not that I justified whatever he did) and ML will have character development later on as well. I am actually excited for both MC’s character’s development and growth. I love the fact that they have flaws, they will learn from their mistakes and becoming a better version of themselves.
Not yet, we are roughly 40 days in, the initial project announcement stated that it might take around 110 days, so probably will finish around March 2026
