Wasted potential

I've been waiting for this series for a year, since we got the first trailer i fell in love with it. Maybe i set my expectations a little too high.

First of all, why did Jira randomly fall in love with Koh right after he passed out? Yeah, for sure there was something between them before, but Jira didn't show it at all. He was annoyed and irritated by Koh, he didn't want him to be near him. Then Koh went with Jira on that party or whatever it was and he passed out. From that moment Jira loves him and cares about him out of NOWHERE, even though he hated him a few minutes ago. I agree that maybe he hid his feelings before and tried to convince himself that he loves Pheem, but why did that situation impacted on him showing it? It just doesn't make sense to me, they could at least show how Jira's feelings change through episodes so it wouldn't look like it was out of nowhere.

Second of all, I just don't like how Koh and Jira were acting (not talking about OffGun, just KohJira's behavior). The way Koh was kissing Jira without his consent, even if he wanted it, it just looked weird af for me. It didn't show his love for him at all. The only kissing scene of them that i liked was in episode 8, where they kissed in the rain. That looked actually beautiful.

Third of all, i think there's basically no plot. It all just revolves around Pheem wanting Jira, Jira not knowing if he loves Pheem or Koh, Koh being an egoist that wants to have Jira only for him while not caring about his feelings and that's all. Plus that many bed scenes between Koh and Jira were simply unnecessary. It would be okay if it actually looked like they love each other, but to me it looked nothing like it.

A good thing is that the acting was incredible. Off, Gun and Dew played the role of Koh, Jira and Pheem perfectly. I loved how they expressed their emotions there. Also the scenography, it all looked beautiful and it had so much potential. But it just isn't it for me. I lowkey don't get how some people say it had good plot, if you enjoy watching 5 bed scenes in one episode then ok, but i came here for an actual good plot.
