Yes, if i power off my machine mid wash and turn it back on after some time, it doesnt remember there is water…
My LG washer is from 2010 but it drains automatically when I press Start/Pause button. However, I’ve never tried to turn it off while it was washing so maybe there’s a way to make it confused. It does take a special skill from ML to sabotage a perfectly working machine 🤣😂
Legitimate question: is it even possible to have FL’s washing machine flood the apartment? ML would have had to mess with the hose in the back or something. For front-load washers it’s not even possible to open them while running (at least, not with any quality brand) specifically to avoid these issues.
I’d recommend giving this 4 episodes because it gets much better in episode 3 and becomes really good starting…
Fair point because first episode didn’t explain the leads well. Basically, FL is a type of a person who was happy being an analyst behind the scenes, preparing reports, and having work/life balance to dedicate to her family (her fiance & her future kids). Like many people, she was hoping that quality of her work would be enough and did not want to get involved into any office politics or become client-facing investment banker (more prestigious but tough work & requires a lot of personal interactions). But certain things force her to change her career outlook and ML guides her along her journey. And FL herself helps change ML for the better through their life together.
The second couple is a flop, and we had to endure watching that annoying mama's boy throughout episode 12 because…
In many dramas there’s a fine line between pursuing a girl and stalking… and I think Jun crossed it here. Hopefully, they find a smart way to get them together.
The first episodes are so lame... I'm almost dropping it
Episodes 1 & 2 are a bit rough, but it gets good in episode 3 and really good starting with episode 4. But that’s just my view — everyone likes different dramas 😊
This drama is dry af …. 3 years and this is what we get
You have to give it at least four episodes because 1 & 2 had a bit of a rough edit due to trimming of scenes with FL’s ex (they had to do a face swap for him which is a very expensive process, so they cut down on his scenes most likely). But if you don’t like it after episode 4, then it’s not going to change your opinion after that.
Is it not good or what? Why are the rating so low?
This got review bombed and also first two episodes weren’t to everyone’s liking so some people didn’t continue watching. But it gets better in episode 3 and becomes really good starting with episode 4. Episodes 1 & 2 probably had too many scenes edited out to reduce screentime of FL’s ex. That was needed because they had to do face swap of that actor and his scenes had to be trimmed down to save on costs.
LYF: Why do I suddenly think the landlady looks pretty? Also him: can't stop staring at her bare legs. 😏
It’s really hilarious when they pick very, very handsome people to portray “average” or “plain looking” characters from a novel. I got a laugh every time Yang Yang was called plain looking in The Immortal Ascension. And now we have someone claiming Wang Chu Ran isn’t pretty 🤣
I’ve seen it get a lot of bad feedback, but I’m personally enjoying it. I like the FL and ML rapport. It’s…
Even on this comments page feedback is mostly positive (other than face swap quality). What I always tell people is to give this drama 4 episodes. Episode 3 is better than 1 & 2 (too much was cut due to face swap budget?) and then episode 4 is where the true dynamic between the leads starts to shine. But, also, different people like different things. There are certainly some dramas that are rated 7.8-7.9 on MDL that I have as 9.0 (especially true for more mature dramas for adult audiences).
I'm on episode 7 and i don't quite understand any of the workplace drama. Could someone give me a quick summary…
To add to what others mentioned, ML knows the hotel company’s CEO (Uncle Liao: father of a woman for whom FL’s ex left FL). ML knows him because they are from the same circle: ML is a second-generation rich guy but he doesn’t tell that to anyone because he’s trying to make it on his own. And, oh, FL exposed a corrupt guy in ML’s investment bank but she did it under a pseudonym on social media.
