There are always downvoting campaigns here in the first few days of a drama’s release even for artists who have a large backing. But that’s why MDL ratings aren’t very reliable — it’s much better to just read comments or watch drama yourself. There are some dramas which are 7.x here that I really like.

Sigh… it’s a good thing MDL ratings don’t matter because it’s always annoying how antis/haters tank ratings of new dramas when they come out. It’s honestly amazing that Pursuit of Jade managed to stay at 9.2 almost until the very end.

“Fake It…” is great 👍🏻 It’s more realistic unlike a typical idol drama; probably my most favorite real-world Asian romance drama. The author of the source novel was a bit like the FL in the drama — graduate of top-tier law school and a corporate lawyer. So the characters are all written well and things are more grounded & real.

I’d also highly recommend The First Frost. You may have seen many reels/shorts of the FL in the drama sleepwalking and being funny, but behind all that are really deep & heartbreaking events in her past which she’s striving to overcome; and ML in that drama is so, so good (green flag but in a non-annoying way).

This drama is all about snacks instead of soccer/football. Just like “Love Me, Love My Voice” was truly about Chinese food instead of singing/voiceovers 🤣

Yes, I’m sure they did it for budget reasons (and to make us related to each cast member more), but not having any substitutes is a recipe for disaster, especially given their lack of stamina/endurance

This drama is really about eating snacks and not about soccer ⚽️🤣

WCR is the Queen of Fireworks 🎆. Both dramas were good.

I’m behind (on ep. 28) but it’s nice this series got good viewerhip and recognition. MDL ratings are lower than we’d like but so what. Haters be hating 🙄

It’s only like that in episode 1 and maybe 2. We think many scenes got cut out from 1 & 2 because of the need to do face swap on FL’s ex (to save money on the cost of face replacement). But it gets better in ep. 3 and becomes very good in episode 4. So jus have to look at it as glass half full — if there were no cuts & AI face swap, this drama would still be on the shelf (basement).

They’ve been together since, what, episode 4? As soon as the ex moved out 🤣😂

It’s good that he’s being called out on it by that girl though. That’s different from most dramas where that behavior is considered normal. His parents are definitely overbearing but it’s done in a more humorous way compared to many other dramas. If they manage a good transformation of his character, that couple may be nice

So. Much. Drama… poor ML must be thinking of ways to extract FL from all this mess 😳🫣😥

It’s actually nice how they call out Jin’s behavior and point out it’s not appropriate. Maybe it’s here to tell people how NOT to try to win someone’s heart

It does become significantly better in episode 3 and starting with episode 4 it’s all steam ahead with focus on the leads and their funny banter & interactions. So I’d suggest watching 1-4. If you don’t like it after that, drop it :)

My LG washer is from 2010 but it drains automatically when I press Start/Pause button. However, I’ve never tried to turn it off while it was washing so maybe there’s a way to make it confused. It does take a special skill from ML to sabotage a perfectly working machine 🤣😂

That makes more sense although in the drama it looked like a permanent hookup. Anyway, definitely not a handy man 🤣

Legitimate question: is it even possible to have FL’s washing machine flood the apartment? ML would have had to mess with the hose in the back or something. For front-load washers it’s not even possible to open them while running (at least, not with any quality brand) specifically to avoid these issues.
