I think the poster meant to say that Episode 2 will be free (just like Ep. 1) but remaining episodes might be paid (don’t know for sure). Episode 2 is definitely not out yet. We have Episode 1 and the special about the filming (Episode 0, so to speak).

VivaOne will air it every Saturday. First episode was on June 14, Epsiode 2 will be on June 21, and so on. The last epaiode (#16) will be on September 27.

P-dramas usually air once a week (like a US show would), so it’s definitely a change for people used to C-dramas or even K-dramas.

This one may be different because FL is being threatened with treason. And, judging by the preview for Ep. 3, similar things that happened with OGFL will happen to our FL (there’s going to be a fire like in original novel).

It’s a lighter version of TPoB and more like Are You the One (but not quite as good). Plot picks up and gets more complicated too.

Yes, it’s nice to watch something lighter. This one reminds me a bit of Are You the One (especially since Zhou Shen sings main songs for both dramas). Of course, the writing in AYtO is better and there is more logic to everything; this drama is a bit silly/over-the-top sometimes.

Yes! It’s not very heavy & dramatic (not like The Prisoner of Beauty, for example) but if you like lighter dramas with more comedy, it’s very good.

Viva One just released a 36-minute documentary about the making of this drama. it’s called “Seducing Drake Palma: The First Chapter”.

“Exclusive Fairytale” is not a bad drama by any means but, because the FL is the same as “When I Fly Towards You”, it’s hard not to compare the two dramas and EF loses to WIFTY.

Yes. She’s also part of the Su clan and that is why in the beginning she was very involved in arranging [wrong] marriages for the leads.

No, 2ML is still alive but hiding from the Su family. Our heroes can’t go meet him though because they are being watched & followed 24x7. 2ML supposedly has some evidence against Su family so they are trying to hunt him down.

Thanks for recommendations! I’m also awaiting season 2 of Flourished Peony (I mean, “Name of Blossom”, lol). I liked The Princess Royal (not as much as AYtO or FP) because I was focused on FL & ML finding trust & love again. Stopped In Blossom halfway but need to finish watching it.
What sucks about the ending of TDHR is that it was supposed to be a happy ending in original script but iQIYI asked for a different ending (possibly to safe budget on CGI for Carefree Land but it’s not been confirmed). Even then, they could’ve saved the ending by doing a 30-second scene of repairing the travel gizmo, hearing rumors of a second device, or basically any number of ways to hint about a possible way for ML & FL to reunite. As it is, it was not a happy ending, not a bittersweet ending, not an open ending, just very much meh 😒
