Question to those who read the novel: is it going to be smooth sailing from now on or will the lead couple have to face some more drama?

TFF will be fully available for purchase on the 10th based on YOUKU’s poster: March 10 will see episode 28 for VIP, episode 29 for SVIP and will have a package of remaining episodes for purchase (29-32 / 30-32 for VIP/SVIP). Yes, FL was 19 and ML was 15 when they first met. But at another time she mentioned 5-year difference with the boss, so maybe it depends on how they count it (Korean age versus normal age). Actors are 6 years apart in real life.

Maybe we are finally in an era of early non-accidental kissing. There is another drama airing right now when the leads kissed at the end of Episode 2 (although, they were kind of drunk).

No. This book actually was written first (before HL book). There are also some difference due age gap of HL leads: in TFF book & drama and in HL book the girl is 8 years younger; in HL drama the girl is 5 years younger.

The ML in My Boss was good but it’s subjective. In every drama you will see some people like chemistry and others have an opposite opinion.

It has not been said in the drama who that person is (other than someone in FL’s past). But you can look at spoilers to figure out who it was in the book.

The gap next week may be to get more people to pay for a special bundle of the last few episodes on March 10: 30-32 for SVIP and 29-32 for VIP.

Did you watch When I Fly Towards You? It’s from the same author as TFF & HF and is very lighthearted (FL in that drama is 2FL in TFF). I see you liked Flowering Peony and Princess Royal, check out Are You the One if you haven’t already. It’s slightly lighter in tone but has heroes that actually behave logically and set traps for enemies instead of being victims to plots against them.

Happy to help! The one thing I appreciated about My Boss is the lack of bad tropes like breakups for no reason, dumb miscommunication, etc. And it’s relatively light-hearted except for some things with an ex of FL’s family member.

My Boss is surprisingly excellent drama even though the premise is not very original. The cast did a great job and it’s one of those rare C-dramas where I would have accepted even more episodes :)
