It’s hilariously funny in the beginning and is still funny in some places. But — as our heroes progress — they have to deal with some serious things so there are some heartfelt, not-so-nice moments. But it’s still not as dark or heartbreaking as many historical dramas. Everything is going to be fine :)

The simple answer is that we don’t know yet. But there are rarely drama sequels, so probably going to fit entire novel in the drama.

For those wondering why FL keept saying that she’s Suzy (in Ep. 3), it’s because Bae Suzy is nicknamed “The Nation's First Love”, so FL was 2ML’s first love.

You are welcome! MDL summaries oftentimes are wrong. They aren’t even working a winery. It’s about a liquor business (which, somehow, gets translated as “wine” in subtitles). It’s a giant global manufacturer and this is about a regional China office. FL is manager of Promotions, her boss is Sales Director, her rivals are managers in Sales, her best friend is an important team member in Sales, her husband is Senior Partner in a consulting firm, and there are some other related characters (don’t want to spoil too much).
One thing for sure, this is not an idol drama, it’s more gritty and realistic (and real world is not black & white and is not full of nice people who never make mistakes).

This drama is like a modern version of palace intrigues that are always happening in historical dramas. It’s not about business but rather characters trying to get promotion, undermine their rivals, and so forth. It’s also about pressures faced by people in a workplace and how well they maintain (or not maintain) their dignity & moral bearings.

An added twist is that sometimes point of view changes and we hear thoughts/see actions as someone other than the main lead (FL).

I like to say that I Geon came out of the show with a new bro — Ha Eun. She had a really good relationship with him and was the person who would call him out on his (mis)behavior.

Current speculation is they are dating or — at least — very friendly because there’s an IG story of them watching finale together (it was filmed/posted by Su Been’s friend).

Pretty much all pairs don’t date outside the show, so I always assume people aren’t together unless there’s some evidence to the contrary (like with Hee Sun and Su Been).

Yes, it will be interesting to see what’s currently going on without all the guessing. I mean, we probably know one pair that’s still dating, but will there be others?

Hopefully, it will get aired on Netflix. I’ve watched all prior seasons but must admit it’s the first time I’ve heard they did reunions for seasons 2-4.

It really felt like Production team forced some extra content by, ahem, probably strongly encouraging Min Gee to pick Su Been for Paradise 5 (which led to all other dominos falling). Producers were probably also the ones who got Seung Il to tell Hee Sun about the bed stuff.

Without that, there’d be no suspense in any pairs except for Go Eun’s choice.

It was a bit predictable at the very end because they didn’t show her parting words to him (only to other two guys).

Mina Sue was enjoyable in SMALL doses (like in the beginning or the end). But middle episodes dragged on because it was all about her and it felt like Season 4 all over again. Moreover, I agree with others — just because she made some things more enjoyable, doesn’t excuse her behavior.

It really did feel like Mina Sue went with her 3rd choice because other two guys were going to turn her down. But — to me — it felt like she was trying to help Hee Sun + Su Been by getting Su Been to confirm he liked Hee Sun. Not sure how genuine it was but Mina Sue tried to do damage control and restore her reputation a bit by being super nice.

There aren’t designated dubbers for each actress/actor, so the same person can do voiceovers for multiple people. For example, Wang Chu Ran in “Are You the One” was dubbed by Duan Yixian who also dubbed Bai Lu in “Till the End of the Moon” (amongst many others).

Dubbing is especially prevalent in historical dramas not just because of accents / the way of speaking but also apparently because most historical dramas are shot in the same place so it can get very noisy during filming.

This is a drama when actors can be very over the top and campy! 🤣😁
