A Suspenseful Drama with Great Twists but a Confusing Story
I really enjoyed If wishes could kill and I ended up giving it an 8.5/10. I really liked the characters of Ha Joon and Se Ah, and I got attached to the whole friend group as well as Ha Joon’s brothers-in-law. One thing I especially loved was the plot twist where the drama makes us believe one specific person created the app, when actually that wasn’t the case at all. That reveal genuinely surprised me.I also really liked the atmosphere of the drama. For something involving deaths and a supernatural app, I thought the mood and tension were handled pretty well overall. Even though some of the special effects looked a little awkward at times, it didn’t completely ruin the experience for me.
However, I do have to admit that the story became a bit messy toward the end. Sometimes it felt like the plot didn’t fully know where it wanted to go, and I found it complicated to understand why the app suddenly became “alive” and how everything actually worked. Some explanations felt confusing or underdeveloped, which made certain moments harder to follow.
Still, despite those flaws, I found the drama entertaining, suspenseful, and emotionally engaging because of the characters and relationships.

Addictive, Intense, and Unforgettable: My 9/10 Experience with Pyramid Game
I really loved Pyramid Game. Honestly, the characters are incredibly well written. The villain is truly evil, to the point where I hated her more than almost anyone. I also liked how the series sometimes made me doubt Seong Su Ji, even though in the end she’s a genuinely good person. And the friendship between Seong Su Ji and Myeong Ja Eun… I found it amazing, definitely one of the strongest parts.I also loved the plot twists—there are so many in every episode, it kept me hooked from start to finish. The episodes are well structured, I never felt lost, everything flows really well. And the opening… absolutely incredible, I still have the music stuck in my head.
However, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed by the villain’s motivations—I found them not developed enough. And some characters like Eun Byeol or Da Yeon, I liked them less; for me, they’re the only ones with no real excuse for their actions.
But despite that, I think the series delivers a really powerful message about bullying, popularity, and being a bystander. It’s a very addictive drama, and for me, it clearly deserves its 9/10.

A little disappointed
I had a lot of trouble getting through the first three episodes of this series. From the very beginning, I went in with extremely high expectations, mainly because of all the hype surrounding K-dramas lately. Everyone seems to praise them for their storytelling, emotional depth, and unique visuals, so I genuinely expected to be immediately hooked. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for me. The start felt slow, and I struggled to connect with the characters or feel invested in the plot. At times, it even felt like I was forcing myself to continue, hoping it would eventually get better.Because of that initial disappointment, I found it hard to fully enjoy what followed. Even when the story started to pick up and the pacing improved, I couldn’t completely forget how underwhelmed I felt at the beginning. It created a sort of distance between me and the series, as if my expectations had already been broken too early. That said, I have to admit that the rest of the episodes did manage to do their job. The plot became more engaging, the stakes felt higher, and I started to appreciate certain character developments and narrative choices.
Despite this improvement, I can’t say I truly loved the series. I liked it, yes, but there’s still a lingering sense of disappointment that I can’t ignore. I think a big part of it comes from the contrast between what I expected and what I actually experienced. When expectations are set so high, it becomes much harder for any show to fully satisfy them, and this one, unfortunately, didn’t completely succeed in doing so for me.
On the other hand, I really want to highlight the final fights. Those scenes genuinely surprised me in a very positive way. The intensity, choreography, and overall execution were impressive and much more impactful than I had anticipated after the slow beginning. It felt like the series suddenly reached its full potential during those moments, delivering something truly memorable. In fact, I think those final sequences are what ultimately raised my overall rating. Without them, my opinion would probably have been much more negative.
