Yeah in the middle you will feel everything is just chaos but it was kind of worth it till the end

I honestly don’t know if I watched the same drama as everyone else. Sure, the beginning is really amazing and catchy, but after that it just falls all over the place. The wife is too dumb, the episodes are painfully slow, and at one point the story was just… nothing. So many elements thrown in, but everything ended up as pure chaos.

A wife who supposedly wants to kill her husband yet lets her friend get beaten up? And both of them planning to kill him with a rope??? Are they stupid? The IQ was so low it was frustrating to watch. I expected at least a perfect murder moment, but that never happened. Everything was just absurd — even the sister who’s a police officer… like, c’mon.

It honestly felt like a struggle to finish this drama. I genuinely don’t know how people liked this. Can someone please explain? I only watched because of the character Jin So-Baek, he was the only person with an IQ.

The story started pretty well, and I actually liked it a lot in the beginning. The female lead is really good at acting, and her character was played so well — that part definitely kept me hooked. But somewhere in the middle, the story went completely off road. It felt like it was going nowhere for a while, and then everything suddenly got wrapped up right at the end.

There are a lot of loopholes too. Visually, it’s pretty good, the concept is good, but so many random things were just thrown into the story without proper buildup. The ending was superb though — I really liked how she became the genie in the end. Overall, it was a pretty decent one-time watch, but I genuinely don’t understand the crazy hype around it.

First of all, I watched this only because of Park Min Young — I absolutely love her as an actor. The series started off really well, but it kind of fell flat around the middle. Honestly, it was really hard to get through those middle episodes, and I considered dropping it so many times… but I’m not weak, so I powered through it 😤.

The story has that kind of fancy, entertaining vibe that you don’t usually see, but after a while, it started feeling a bit repetitive — just different stories with a similar pattern. That said, the last two episodes were really good and tied the story together nicely. I just wish there had been more mystery or intrigue sprinkled throughout the episodes to keep things exciting.

Overall, I did enjoy it, but it definitely took me a while to finish. If there’s ever a second season, I hope they focus more on binding the story and episodes well — because it really has the potential to be great.

The drama comes from a webtoon, and you implied she could’ve attacked the villain, but she didn’t know how…
Exactly my point, when adrenaline is at its highest you can easily use any weapon. And yes i agree she just randomly one day decided she liked him just like that.

I don't care if it comes from a webtoon or other story, she definitely had a sword may i say lying around there were 3 people against 2, even though i get your point about not knowing how to use a sword it seemed absurd because the ending is kind of basic like any other drama. Secondly, about comparing it to Mr. Queen, they both had food component and both had chemistry element too and about the chemistry, it still felt forced since she was reluctant till the last episode when she got to know oh i cant have him. It needed more episodes and not so basic ending.

I usually love high school dramas, and this one was honestly pretty cute for me. It had that same familiar charm I adore from all the classics — the kind that makes you smile without even realizing it. Love Untangled felt like a sweet, youthful romance that instantly lifts your mood.

I know people might be tempted to compare it with 20th Century Girl, but honestly, they’re totally different vibes — this one is way more romantic and way less tragic 😂. It’s light, adorable, and just the kind of comforting watch you need sometimes.

Actually, I felt this was a lot similar to Mr. Queen, but I still wanted to give it a chance because I like the male lead. Unfortunately, this just didn’t meet my expectations. I get why people were talking about how amazing the competition was and how insane the dishes looked — I agree, but that excitement only lasted for the first few episodes.

The later ones, especially the ending parts, felt way too absurd. Like that scene where she got in between the King and Jesan to save him — she literally could’ve just used a sword and killed Jesan from behind! It was so ridiculous that I actually laughed.

Honestly, this year’s dramas have been really low for me. I don’t even understand how some of them get such high ratings when they’re just copying previous ones and adding a small twist to make it look new. Even if it feels inspired, at least give it a bomb ending to make up for it!The chemistry between the leads also felt forced — like they were trying too hard to make it happen even though it just wasn’t there. That’s all I have to say.

I absolutely loved Yoona's portrayal of the female lead here. I love how much of a rock star the chef character…
I totally agree with you

I liked the drama overall, it was such a fun watch. I actually came to this after watching Head Over Heels, and Ji Won and Yeong Ju gave me strong Bong-su and Seong-a vibes — I lowkey wanted them to end up together, but it’s fine. Both couples were really great, and I liked how the story actually gave space for their romances to unfold instead of rushing it. That was such an important factor for me.

Another thing I appreciated was how both pairs had this same energy of accepting and supporting their partners no matter what. That made the relationships feel wholesome and real. Overall, it was a great watch.

I was really interested in the cases at first, but eventually it started feeling off. The FL was written as too perfect — like she could handle absolutely anything, which made it unrealistic. The ML too felt like a flawless character who never loses, and honestly, that took away a lot of the fun. The cases themselves just weren’t hitting the way I expected from a law drama.

The chemistry between the leads was there, but it wasn’t pursued properly, and it felt underwhelming. Dramas are supposed to be an escape, but when the relationships feel too close to reality and lack that spark, it just gets boring. Surprisingly, I liked the second couple way more — their chemistry and story were genuinely better than the main couple’s.

I usually enjoy law dramas a lot, but this one just wasn’t it. It didn’t click either in terms of cases or romance. Either commit fully to romance or don’t show it at all — that subtle in-between only works when the story is really strong, and here, it just wasn’t. Everything revolved around the main leads, and while I was curious to see them together, they didn’t manage to hold much interest. I also wanted them to show the storyline of the twins which was so sidelined, it could have been turned into a great show including that area. It would add the spice but the drama from that pov was very disappointing.

Omg I LOVED this drama soooo much, like 24 episodes are seriously NOT ENOUGH 😭💔. After such a long time, I finally watched a BL that hit me right in the heart and wow… I felt EVERYTHING. I cried, I laughed, I giggled, I twirled my hair like a lovesick fool 🤭💖. The scenes were soooo good and don’t even get me started on Xu Ning — his face card is actually lethal, like how is he even real??

The main couple had my whole heart, but the second couple?? They were so beautiful too, their story and flow were just perfection 🥺. Honestly this drama needs a sequel, actually multiple sequels — because what we got was NOT enough. I already miss them so much even though I literally just finished watching.

And omg the teasing between the main couple?? The way Suo Wei, even though straight, seduces Chi Cheng??? The banter, the chemistry, the way they made me squeal every 5 seconds — I LOVED everything about it 🫠💘. The only flaw is that it ended too soon… like, how dare they leave me starving like this 😤.

The show started really well, but honestly, it scared me too. The first case was amazing as a crime fanatic, though it quickly became clear that fantasy is mixed into it. I love the team dynamics — how the characters genuinely help each other and stay involved. Each one of them feels important and fun in their own way. The humor balances it out nicely, but the horror and jumpscares definitely add an edge. At times, it felt like I was watching a Chinese version of Jumanji, with wild creatures and the main characters trying to survive while solving a case.

One thing I felt strongly about is that everyone in this drama is a victim in some way. They all carry some kind of burden, and I couldn’t help but feel bad for them. When the main couple finally came together, I honestly thought they should have waited a little longer for each other. Like the FL said, “I wouldn’t wait for you,” but sometimes waiting is exactly what deepens the bond. Still, I’m glad they found their way.

I felt awful about the savage — why did they have to kill her? That part was too overwhelming for me. On the other hand, Dark Mu Dai was so badass; everything she said was spot-on, and I loved her. The women in this drama really stood out — scary, ambitious, villainous at times, but undeniably powerful. The leopard woman in particular terrified me. I love ambitious women, but damn, she was scary, and I hated her. Still, I’m glad she eventually got what she deserved. I loved how the second couple also found their way in the end.

The trauma, the revenge, the way Luo Ren suffered — it all hit hard. But what I really liked is that the women led the whole show, and they owned it. The ending tied everything up beautifully, and despite the scares and heartbreaks, it was all worth it.

I really don't know what people see in this drama? Genuinely I liked the hook like yes the story is good at the beginning then it just becomes a mess? It felt like unnecessary elements were thrown into it and let the story unfold. I did not like the story after the first few episodes. It didn't feel complete at all.

Pretty chaotic if i must say
The first half of the story is so exciting and amazing — I loved it. But as the drama progresses and more elements are added, the loopholes start to show. The drama itself isn’t unique, but I really enjoyed how both the actors acted. The story is predictable, yet it still makes you want to click on the next episode.

Towards the end, I was a little confused — when the FL begs Seonghyeon to save the ML, she says she will do anything but then doesn’t do anything in return? A lot of things happened very suddenly in the finale, which made it feel chaotic.

Still, it’s entertaining overall and definitely a fun watch.

Great review. I haven’t started yet but could you tell me if there another prominent couple besides Mun Jeong…
Hey! So the main couple is Huiji and Ju Hyeong and the secondary couple is Mun Jeong and her husband.

The story is decent — it flows smoothly, though there aren’t really any standout cases. What I truly enjoyed was the friendship between the characters, the way they interacted, supported, and cared for each other. The show also does a good job of showing the harsh realities and struggles faced not only by clients but also by lawyers themselves.

I especially loved Bae Munjeong’s couple — they were the sweetest. Her husband was so supportive, always caring for her and even looking after her needs without her having to ask, especially during her pregnancy. That was really heartwarming to see.

Another thing I appreciated was how, in the end, it wasn’t about winning or losing but about living freely and choosing to pursue their own dreams.

Overall, a simple but meaningful drama with lovely friendships and moments that stayed with me.
