A fun show (if u look past technicalities)
Their ideas and schemes were fun to watch even though its not practical. Park Min Young as yu yirang was so fun , she was such a diva. I liked her backstory and overall connection to the main revenge plot. I feel like this could have been done without the other two of the trio since they aren't that important. The cameos were a nice addition too. They are definitely going to have a s2 and I know where that is going to go.Was this review helpful to you?
“Money, Scams & a Side of Trauma — Meet the Confidence Queen”
So here we have a rich, independent, dangerous, yet deeply traumatized woman running the show — basically, your favorite “queen with a past” type of K-drama heroine. The acting? Pretty solid. You’ll even find bits of humor sprinkled here and there to keep things light. But honestly… I couldn’t completely connect with the story — maybe because I’m not that rich and I’ve got a few more real-world priorities (like paying bills instead of scamming millionaires 😅).
That said, if you enjoy crime dramas with stylish scammers, sleek visuals, and a few throwback 90s-era sequences, this might be your cup of tea (or champagne 🍾).
Would I rewatch it? Probably not.
Would I recommend it to crime-drama lovers? Absolutely, especially if you like your crime with a side of glamour and chaos.
P.S.: The scammers here are way too good-looking for their own good — just saying 👀
